My son wants one, but he's not old enough yet *warm chuckle/pat on sons head* - inactive, on 06/30/2009, -11/+19Now that is a very cool addition to flickr and twitter.
- dystra, on 07/01/2009, -1/+9these comments suck
- cajie, on 07/01/2009, -3/+10Cool.
I already have the facebook app that automatically updates my facebook account with images that I post to Flickr.
This will be yet another way for me to bore the living crap out of my "friends" and "followers". - strictnein, on 07/01/2009, -1/+8So, it's like Facebook, but with fewer features, and everything I say and post is public, unlike Facebook where I can control who sees what.
Sounds awesome. - doublefelix, on 07/01/2009, -6/+13'Twitter your Flickr' sounds so Meta2.0
- raynar, on 07/01/2009, -1/+7because nobody cares about your lame ass spam.
- QUAKthunder, on 07/01/2009, -8/+14I really just don't get Twitter.
- borez, on 07/01/2009, -1/+7I for one will be tweeting my mobile Flickr twit pics to the sick chicks who I fancy on Facebook and follow on Twitter but updating through netvibes because I can send multiple Flickr twit pics to multiple twit accounts giving parallel tweets that also simultaneously appear on multiple Facebook status updates, then I'm gonna blog on my Blogger and wordpress blogs about it all.
Or something. - nicktomyskins, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3people should learn facebook allows you to upload albums of pictures, twitter's dumb
- Mudcrutch, on 07/01/2009, -1/+4I buried you because you replied to your own post complaining about being buried.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 07/01/2009, -0/+3I'm intrigued by your ideas and wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
- raynar, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2well....good?

- jjustin01, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2Not just WOW, but ShamWOW!
- swamp916, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2HELLO quakthunder obviously if you had real life friends you would have a twitter. how else will your real life friends know whats going on in your life if you can't update your followers online??
uhg in my opinion twitter is just a bunch of ***** being glorified by every tv show/ cable news channel. quoting a celebrity from their twitter is not a credible way to get the news!!! ahhgggsdakfjdsalfjd;slakjdlsakj - ThermiteTerrace, on 07/01/2009, -4/+6Twittards
Buried for Twitter. When did being on the Internet all day become the cool thing to do? - Pushkin, on 07/01/2009, -1/+3And I was offended by your long name. Was postrz taken?
But it seems like a cool service. I dugg you up instead - Donniecrane, on 06/30/2009, -12/+14I like this.
- withremote, on 07/01/2009, -0/+2isn't this all just getting out of control.
Can i facebook my flickered twitter? - ThermiteTerrace, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1all it needs is a logo slightly rotated to the left
- insanebrain, on 07/01/2009, -2/+3.. . they are still losing money every day.
- ijake, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Until it's intergrated in to tweetie, I'll stick with twitpic.
- nepidae, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1thanks for sharing
- endoffile, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1They are just paying tribute to Billy.
- Disc2day, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Sounds cool
- EtherGnat, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1"I looked for a way to send my cameraphone pics to Twitter and Facebook. Only Posterous can do it,"
*****. There are other services that can do that. Buried. - bpeacock22, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Tried it out this morning. Just need my iPhone app, Tweetie, to integrate it now.
- cJw314, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1Wow... so NONE of you actually know what Twitter's for?
- endoffile, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1I only come to digg to read the comments.
- swamp916, on 07/01/2009, -1/+2amen brother. i have a theory twitter is just some media scam, it seems like more celebrities and politicians use twitter than anyone else and now its acceptable for journalists to quote twitter?!?!
In the words of andy richter
"In the year 3000, youtube twitter and facebook combine to form the ultimate time wasting website... YouTwitFace" - nashio, on 07/01/2009, -0/+0Next thing you know, Twi-cker for Flicker, get your feed of Flicker Pics from Twitter, inside your Flicker Account
- strictnein, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1So, then it's just like Facebook, with fewer features? Thanks for clearing that up.
- ayeroxor, on 07/02/2009, -1/+1No problem. Some day you'll understand that different tools are better for different tasks. But I understand that at age 13 or so, you just want everything to do everything. Live it up. At this point in your life, the infinite is possible. Dream those amazing dreams, little man!
- ayeroxor, on 07/01/2009, -1/+1I guess I should expect this child-like attitude from the majority - you all clearly comprise the "below average" portion, and unfortunately, your voice counts just as much as the adults.
- MScrip, on 07/01/2009, -2/+1I have "a twitter" and plenty of real life friends. But, not many of my real life friends use Twitter, so I rarely use it either. I'd rather post stuff to Facebook where all my friends will read it.
>> "uhg in my opinion twitter is just a bunch of ***** being glorified by every tv show/ cable news channel."
Yes... but how many people sign up for a celebrity's website newsletter? Not many. But it's so easy to "follow" someone on Twitter.
If you get stuff in your inbox, it's spam. But if you follow a celebrity/tv show/news channel on Twitter, you're happy to get updates. - ayeroxor, on 07/01/2009, -2/+1Nope. You can make it private. Sounds like you really know what you're talking about. Way to go. You keep up that amazing ability to talk out your ass without knowing a single thing. It should take you far.
- inactive, on 07/01/2009, -2/+0Wonder why it took em so long to integrate this.
Something like Twitpic can be programmed in a day, easily. And it's been out forever. - iconmaster, on 07/01/2009, -4/+1It's too difficult. You have to set up a Twitter "blog" within Flickr in order for this to work. If Flickr wants in on Twitter, they've got to make it as easy as Twitpic or other image services already supported by 3rd-party Twitter clients.
Of course, part of that comes down what the Twitter clients do with this, and whether Flickr's API makes it easy for Twitter clients to integrate. - eqrunner, on 07/01/2009, -5/+1Burried for being late.
twitter and flickr have been workin together for at least a year now. I know this cause I have been using it to tweet my flickr photos - zebragrrl, on 07/01/2009, -5/+1I wish I could append/prepend a hashtag or other predefined text to the posts coming from flickr... Something like "Check out this cool pic" or whatever. That's what twittergram could do that this can't.
- jggube, on 07/01/2009, -11/+7Oh this is going to be a game-changer, Flickr is awesome!
- endgame, on 07/01/2009, -6/+1Flickr FTW!!!
- RobertWright, on 08/13/2009, -16/+11Twitter is really growing fast and this new launch is going to be Great!!!
- ayeroxor, on 07/01/2009, -7/+1If you're going to bury my post after I took the time to be concise to help people make an informed decision, you could at least explain why.
- whuddafugger, on 07/01/2009, -7/+1i've been waiting for this....cool!
- ayeroxor, on 07/01/2009, -9/+2It's for people who
a) care what their friends are up to
b) have friends who care what they are up to
Not everybody qualifies for one or both. -
