- lokee73, on 07/26/2008, -1/+57I don't care how cool it is; its ***** MEAN to make other desk jockeys look at how cool it would be to work there. ***** cold man, ***** cold.
- Scaryclouds, on 07/26/2008, -3/+56If there were not already enough reasons I want to work at Google. Soon, very soon.
- browwiw, on 07/26/2008, -2/+49Once you get inside the Google building, you have to prance around seeing,"I've got a golden ticket"
- PFrocker, on 07/27/2008, -0/+41or the strip club?
- skwashy, on 07/27/2008, -0/+39I have a mini-fridge in my office.
- m60dude5, on 07/27/2008, -1/+37I like the picture with "Tech Support". Who needs tech support at Google?

- dturnbull, on 07/27/2008, -0/+21One of those drink coolers you plug into your PC's USB port does not count as a mini-fridge.
- Xeller, on 07/27/2008, -0/+21And here I was, expecting Oompa Loompas and rivers of chocolate inside those offices...
- Tyrghast, on 07/26/2008, -0/+20Wow. A corporation that treats it's employees morally an goes out of it's way to make them want to come to work, it's a sign of the end times!!!
- IphtashuFitz, on 07/27/2008, -1/+19All that designed to keep you in the office longer so you'll work many more hours than people in similar high tech positions at other companies for the same amount of money.
Not that I wouldn't like having those sorts of perks myself. We had a "zen" room at a startup I worked at in the midst of the internet boom. It was similar to the leisure room pic, but that's all we had. It'd be nice to have all those other goodies. - cmical, on 07/26/2008, -0/+18Uh, Redmond would be Bill Gates' old stomping ground.
- supertom, on 07/26/2008, -2/+19Is that...is that pacman in disguise?
- digimouse, on 07/27/2008, -1/+17every time I see pictures happy smiling employees at the google plex aI can't help but wonder are they the stepford wives of the 21st century

- browwiw, on 07/27/2008, -6/+18Dear alefox,
Please don't post on the internet before removing the penis from your mouth. At the very least, remove the zucchini from your anus.
And you spelled my name wrong, you asshat.
-Browwiw - blakmajik, on 07/26/2008, -2/+13Ahh. Quite close. But not quite a refliction. To be a true reflection, the r's would have to point the other way, along with the question mark...
But seriously,
How the *****? - RetroRufio, on 07/26/2008, -2/+13Wait, Google hasn't bought Microsoft yet?!
- zarcu, on 07/27/2008, -0/+10Is this for real?...
- cl0n3x, on 07/27/2008, -3/+13Dear browwiw,
Please don't post your sexual fantasies on the internet.
-cl0n3x - je12u, on 07/27/2008, -0/+10Personally I like two things about work:
getting paid and going home.
...I enjoy a comfortable environment and I like my job but I don't want to live at the office which is what this seems to encourage. I enjoy time with my wife and kid. - someone2, on 07/27/2008, -2/+11Come back later please. Server under high load from Digg.
Thanks. :-)
hehehehehehehe - inactive, on 07/27/2008, -0/+8Do they hire Civil Engineers?
When civil engineers complain about being stressed and over worked after endless weeks of 60 to 70 hour work weeks and only getting paid for 40 hours a week and probably less than most of the people at Google, we are just called whiners and our commitment to our career is questioned. It's like these people never heard of work/life balance and you get more productivity and higher quality of work if you don't drive them into the dirt every day. - Dashboarder, on 07/27/2008, -0/+8It seems yur "o" key is sticky, did you have an accident?

- dandelorey, on 07/26/2008, -0/+7You could try the next town over, though. Google has offices in Kirkland. Not quite as cool as the Mountain View, CA offices, though.
- geneticlemon, on 07/26/2008, -4/+11If I had to choose between going to Disneyland and going to the Google office building in Redmond ... well ...
- Bulk70, on 07/27/2008, -0/+7... but they aren't an oil company, so what you said doesn't make any sense
- inactive, on 07/26/2008, -0/+7Time to switch job?

- ZigVicious, on 07/27/2008, -0/+6I almost think I should digg you up for being funny in a subversive way.
- gasoline, on 07/27/2008, -0/+6Yup, once you grow up and get a real life, living at your workplace is not as OMGOMGOMG as it used to be.
- bioviral, on 07/26/2008, -0/+5The Bizarro of employers.
- dazealex, on 07/27/2008, -0/+5Finally someone that can overlook the "awe" factor with Google... Life is outside work because when you die nobody will care where you worked.
