- RedHatMatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you look at the Lindor case, UMG has been playing games with the hard drive discovery documents. At first they agreed to turn over the results of the hard drive search in October, but now they argue that it was only professional courtesy to provide that to the defendant. Apparently they aren't professional or courteous. They claim actual court deadline is the end of discovery on December 31. If they are allowed to get away with that Lindor and her attorneys are likely not be able to follow up on that report in a timely manner.
This order in the Arellanes case takes that kind of chicanery out of play. In this case they both get the discovery at the same time.
