ICANN calls for opening up domain name system

informationoverlord.co.uk — ICANN have decided to change their rules for allocating new Top level domain names (TLDs), with plans to open up applications to allow organisations to have their own domains .cliffordchance or brand domains .guiness; as well as more community based domains such as .africa or .HIV.
