- MikeCerm, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13You may want to add, "Write a blog post about increasing traffic, and submit it to Digg," to the list of ways to increase traffic. It's sure to hit the front page, and front page status means tons of traffic to your otherwise worthless blog.
And yes, you also can get bonus points for including "SEO" tips in the same post! - harsh1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Very good list. I bookmarked it.
- mkoby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Copyblogger is great blogging resource. They focus on content more than anything else. I would advise any blogger to read Copyblogger on a regular basisc
- mkoby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Why reinvent the wheel?
There's obviously enough content already out there that this person deems acceptable. I'm sure there is even more than what they have listed but those they felt could actually be helpful.
Personally, having read several CopyBlogger articles to get my blog started, I would trust their links to outside resources over someone else. - ahhell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Step 1: Post article on Digg linked to your site.
Step 2: Pray that people don't bury article as Lame or Spam.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit (if servers can take the onslaught) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4How about:
-Mention Ubuntu
-Bash Microsoft
-use keywords such as AMAZING and WEB 2.0!
-rinse and repeat - andesmints, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6This is a list of links (lacking summaries, even), not a guide. Buried as inaccurate.
- FishPoisonCon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1actually, that one is there. number 36 in 101 Ways to Build Link Popularity in 2006 (the first link)
36. Submit a story to Digg that links to an article on your site. You can also submit other content and have some of its link authority flow back to your profile page. - MarcusWestberg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good list! thanks!

- rettmartin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I didn't take the time to read through the compiled list, but it seems to me that the best way to attract links and increase web traffic is to have unique and valuable content, updated consistently.
Most people should first worry about what they have to offer before putting all this time and effort into getting people to come to their site. - elsayed, on 01/07/2009, -0/+0Great post.........
