- floridiot2, on 10/02/2008, -2/+106Or you could check out the sample that usually comes with the release. :)
- MCA2142, on 10/03/2008, -35/+107I look for the one word guarantee in quality: aXXo
- pukiman, on 10/04/2008, -1/+67Even without checking the sample first, there's a reason cam. releases are tagged as a cam. release.
- iceman0113, on 10/03/2008, -2/+45aXXo only makes dvd rips, so of course it's going to be in quality. He's only famous because he's able to make a dvd rip for under 700mb. Just wait for an R5 or screener to come out. Better if you're in a private tracker.
- jul1an, on 10/04/2008, -6/+48This web site at www.vcdquality.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
Reason: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsin ... - forcedfx, on 10/04/2008, -1/+33No, but I'd ***** YOUR MOM!
- joeanon, on 10/04/2008, -0/+31If you just use thepiratebay.org and read the reviews you don't need anything else.
Don't use sites without user feedback. - nitesoIja, on 10/04/2008, -2/+30lol firefox now says vcd is an attack site
- jakem1, on 10/04/2008, -1/+26I would if it could be digitally copied and downloaded leaving the original owner's goods intact.
COPYRIGHT VIOLATION ISN'T STEALING! - whorelock, on 10/03/2008, -4/+26vcdquality is a good source for checking the quality of a movie.
- sockpuppets, on 10/04/2008, -1/+23I stole a baby by accident, it was in the car I stole.
- DiggzDE, on 10/04/2008, -1/+22Solution. Use a private tracker.
- geoffreyireland, on 10/04/2008, -2/+22aXXo just re-encodes scene releases.
- InspectorGadget, on 10/04/2008, -0/+19Probably not. Scene rules dictate that a sample not be separate encode but instead cut from the full release, so in the majority of cases it will be a representative sample.
- MarzipanBabies, on 10/04/2008, -0/+18DVD decrypter + Auto Gordian Knot = Quality rips under 700mb.
Anyone can do it, aXXo has just been doing it for a long time. Apparently dvdshrink is pretty good too although I have never used it. - musicmaverick, on 10/02/2008, -10/+25g-- i don't know how many times i've accidentally wasted so much time downloading movies filmed on a dinky camcorder in theaters.
- alex7575, on 10/04/2008, -3/+17he's able to make a QUALITY dvd rip for under 700mb.
- mattus, on 10/04/2008, -2/+14Don't google Bitlord. It's based on BitComet, which is banned from a lot of trackers because it's very aggressive and abuses the BT specification. Use uTorrent or Azureus.
- MrTea, on 10/04/2008, -0/+12No, but I'd download a car.
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -0/+12"You wouldn't steal a handbag.
You wouldn't steal a car.
You wouldn't steal a baby.
You wouldn't shoot a police man and then steal his helmet.
You wouldnt go to the toilet in his helmet.
And then send it to the police man's grieving widow.
And then steal it again."
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MTbX1aMajow - dagamer34, on 10/04/2008, -1/+12Don't download a cam? Duh?
- kakwakas, on 10/04/2008, -2/+13Um. Check the filesize and read the comments? It's not that hard most of the time...
- geenope, on 10/03/2008, -3/+14Could just download dvd rips/r5/dvd screeners
TS/CAM is not good enough. - Namco, on 10/05/2008, -0/+11I trust some release groups more than I trust companies like Sony and Universal.
- Psythik, on 10/04/2008, -0/+10Quick question for all you scene guys:
Why do you always feel the need to ***** with the resolution? DVD Rips should be 720x480 (their native resolution), not some ***** 600x240 or whatever. And if you recorded the video from that telesync with a high-quality HD cam, release it in an HD resolution, damnit! I have broadband for a reason.
I'm sick and tired of all the below-DVD-quality releases. - pukiman, on 10/04/2008, -0/+9@solid12345: Don't get me wrong. I'm fine with the fact that some scene groups using the audio from screeners that were released by other groups for their retail R3 (for example) DVDrip releases (for audio in English), but duping other's rips for some "street creds" on some public P2P site, is, well... Lame and just dangerous.
- bagboyrebel, on 10/04/2008, -1/+10you wouldn't steal a baby.
- RonaldLovegood, on 10/04/2008, -2/+10Reminds me of the first AvsP movie cam copy I got once, in which a group of teens were commenting on the movie. When the short-haired character was killed by a chest-burster, a guy in the background went: "IT'S A BOOOY!!!"
- SIRBERUS, on 10/04/2008, -0/+8You poor, ignorant, misinformed man.
http://i33.tinypic.com/2yor21y.png - guyincognitoo, on 10/04/2008, -0/+8That was the first time I have seen that on that site in about 6 years, it's a safe site.
- Artemis11, on 10/04/2008, -0/+8This is true, but aXXo is only famous because of the veil of secrecy and faux importance scenes put up around their releases. That is, unless you know where to look, or are registered on certain trackers, you can't get the release direct from the scenes. aXXo puts them out everywhere, the average DL'er finds, he gets the credit.
- pukiman, on 10/04/2008, -7/+14That guy is an *****. All he does is renames scene releases and releases them on P2P, like he's the one that ripped the movie. At the best, he will just ruin (by re encoding) a perfectly good 2cd XVID with AC3 audio encoding release into a one cd release with crappy video and audio quality and turn it into a telesync.
- slippeh, on 10/04/2008, -0/+6Yeah.. Marzipan is correct. AutoGK + DVDFab Decrypter = GG.
- randomchar, on 10/04/2008, -1/+7ZeroSec.ws is alot better. They include a review, image samples, and video samples. Oh and RS links to the movie.
- palpacino, on 10/04/2008, -0/+6Or the problem is that it just ***** sucks?
- ligyron, on 10/04/2008, -1/+7Part of this site was listed for suspicious activity 1 time(s) over the past 90 days.
- jessenoob, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5I also hate piracy. I mean, come on, it's madness that people who weren't going to pay to see it anyway can now watch it for free!
- kevin52094, on 10/03/2008, -5/+10The problem with cam copies isn't usually the video quality or the people standing up in the middle of it (that sometimes is hillarious).
its the audio. you cant here anything without static. - calebhawk, on 10/04/2008, -1/+6thats what i always use... works fine for me
- nitesoIja, on 10/03/2008, -1/+6i used this site for years..scenereleases is also pretty good
- elitexero, on 10/04/2008, -1/+6Because nothing says fun like buying a 35$ movie and watching it once only to find out it's crap.
- hookback, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5Ummmm... read the nfo and check the sample folder?
- inactive, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5i can usually preview a little on vlc or mpc
- inactive, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5I 2nd the site. They post a screen shot of the movie under the title, so you can see what you are dealing with, but like someone said above. R5, screener, dvd-rip and you usually won't go wrong.
Can't forget rlslog.net either which is where zerosec came from after some rogue mod's split off. (drama) - mrgeo, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5If you're downloading a scene release, you can just choose to download the sample only, which is usually around 15mb.
- MarrowMan, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4Was going to say the same thing thing, check the sample, and if it doesn't have a sample, wait till a release comes out with one, don't waste your time.
- artfuldodga, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4thanks for the 11+ year old advice...
- lanzemurdok, on 10/04/2008, -2/+6buried for being a failfag.
- elitexero, on 10/04/2008, -2/+6What's .SCRNR.?
It's labeled SCREENER. You fail at attempted scene talk. - fiji5555, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4It was caused by a Banner Add they had at the top......read about it in their forum........never had a problem with it
