How To Bypass Comcast’s BitTorrent Throttling: the true way
rip747.wordpress.com — I don ’t know why people are constantly trying to come up with all these wacky ways to defeat Comcast’s throttling of BitTorrent traffic. Almost ever single way out there eventually fails. I’ll tell you this that I have Comcast and use BitTorrent, with no problem. Want to know how? Here is the simple way:
- 16 diggs
- digg it
- E_r_i_c, on 10/26/2007, -0/+3worked for me!
- lardieb, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2Also worked for me! I have been fighting with this for months now but no more.
- rip747, on 10/26/2007, -0/+1people need to start to digg this up. I can bet this works for other ISPs as well.
- benmandude, on 01/06/2008, -0/+1This did not work for me. My upload speed goes up to 90 and then gets caped at half that with in a few seconds. I'm with comcast by the way and I'm using uTorrent.
- computrius, on 03/18/2008, -0/+1It looks like charter communications also throttles bittorrent traffic. I had 40 seeds for slackware linux and could only get about 60kb/sec down. I switched to deluge, and it jumped up to 600kb/sec.
