- bluntphallus, on 06/07/2008, -0/+9Please, just go away.
- wazzledoozle2, on 06/07/2008, -0/+9The site reliability team has a healthy supply of alcohol, for those long nights.
- MacBookForMe, on 06/07/2008, -2/+11I like how they are getting more and more creative and supportive (they penetrate deeper and deeper in our reality)
- gbudavid, on 06/07/2008, -1/+8Yep I am trying a couple that look ok to me. I am not much of a chatter so won't use those. Thanks
- Rikkochet, on 06/07/2008, -4/+11Great new features! So much better then adding.. Say.. SORTING.
I even know of a few mail clients and webmail providers you can base your design on: all of them. - nubnub, on 06/07/2008, -0/+6FACT #21: Spammers go to hell.
- GoodKharma, on 06/07/2008, -0/+5WTF is this? What is it doing here?
- theaceoffire, on 06/07/2008, -0/+5That would be Spam.
- allcdnboy, on 06/07/2008, -0/+5and canada. i have already activated a few of them, but having the signature go after my reply instead of at the bottom of the page, is easily my fav.
- hitkaiser, on 06/07/2008, -2/+6To enable Gmail Labs manually (i.e. if the option hasn't been activated for your account), open this link up whilst logged in:
https://mail.google.com/mail/?labs=1#settings
The labs tab will appear, and activate it.

Er, Canada has them. - bagpulistu, on 06/07/2008, -0/+4You must enable keyboard shortcuts from the General tab in the Settings for the shortcut to work.
- Dylson, on 06/07/2008, -0/+4o_O
- aapala, on 06/07/2008, -1/+4I was hoping it would include custom time
- ThaDRD, on 06/07/2008, -0/+3I can't get it to work either.
- TekTrixter, on 06/07/2008, -1/+4http://xkcd.com/323/
- JimmyB, on 06/07/2008, -0/+3Old Snakey is a great addition. Now my productivity at work is screwed.
- K3ITHK, on 06/07/2008, -0/+3The keyboard shortcuts won't work for me.
- Hello1024, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2works great for me using Firefox 3 on linux, although it does seem a bit "laggy" - sometimes it seems to ignore keystrokes if you're doing tight maneuvers.
- TheBiggestGnome, on 06/07/2008, -1/+3I would make EVERY night a long night then. Free booze?! Sign me up!
- webkami, on 06/07/2008, -2/+4Hello everybody who was on holiday yesterday. Including BBC

http://lifehacker.com/395211/gmail-gets-13-experim ... - kataztrophy, on 06/07/2008, -5/+7They should just send everyone an email saying " Stop using IE and get a better browser(Opera or Firefox)."
- KevinJim, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2FTA : "Todd Jackson, another Gmail product manager, was more serious when he said that what goes on here (the War Room" ) is kept under wraps and that the engineers don't come out until they have either solved a particular problem or fully developed a new feature. ". Is that why we never see "leaks" for Google stuff ? And people say Apple work with strict secrecy .
- Hello1024, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2you can use the gmail mail server and your own address at the same time - it's called "google apps for your domain", and it's free.
- Daniel0, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2"The new developments, which are only available in the UK and the US."
Hardly accurate... I'm in neither of those two places, but in Denmark, and I've got the new Labs features as well. - aflaks, on 06/07/2008, -2/+4snakey doesnt work for me :(
- Memnochxx, on 06/07/2008, -0/+2Gmail is a client. Perhaps you meant desktop software.
- kjcdude, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1yeah i'm not sure why that's a "Lab" feature. Seems like something that should just be apart of any e-mail client.
- Arkitan, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1It worked for me.
- rodrigo74, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1I had no problems from Belgium.
I love some of the features already, such as mouse gestures and the new stars. - tetfsu, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1that is hilarious... thanks.
- Charklii, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1New Zealand, too.
- tetfsu, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1I thought the exact same thing, but then I thought it through a little further...
If you're like I am you use the web from many different computers, and sometimes it might be a cyber cafe, friend, or maybe a library computer. By having these functions built into the gmail app rather than as an extension like Better Gmail 2, you'll never have to be without those little usability tweaks we've all come to know and love. - specialK16, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1He is not a spammer. He is completely ignorant *****.
- ElbertF, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1Just set your language to English.
- Seth024, on 06/07/2008, -1/+2doesn't work here
- ThirdPrize, on 06/09/2008, -0/+1The one for moving your sig above any quoted text is a good one that i have turned on. It always annoyed me the way it was.
- dood, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1They list the "Custom From address" as a feature on the Google Labs page, but they *still* send a Sender header, which confuses Outlook Express and some mailing list software. Lame.
- Thogster, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1I'm in neither of those three places. I'm in Norway, and I've also got these new Labs features. Maybe it's a US, UK and Scandinavian thing? Sounds unlikely, but we both got it.
- Hello1024, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1>and just because it says your spam is from an @gmail.com address doesn't mean it actually is
I suspect much of it actually is, because gmail is easy to abuse via smtp and only requires one captcha to sign up for an account, and that account can send hundreds of thousands of emails before it's detected by human operators.
There are already people employed in India to solve captchas for just this purpose. If one operator can do 1000 captchas per day, and each account can send 10,000 spams before it's detected, thats 10 million spams per operator per day. - MellerTime, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1Unfortunately, it also doesn't have these features... Fooey. And just because it says your spam is from an @gmail.com address doesn't mean it actually is. There are few things easier to forge than the From: address on an email.
- ChillEnt, on 06/07/2008, -0/+1It does.
- dionyziz, on 06/07/2008, -0/+0Interesting, I wonder how they pick their testers
- colifis, on 06/08/2008, -1/+1Old Snakey is fun but needs more levels.
- phanthommania, on 12/01/2008, -0/+0google cool gadget
http://capacity-group.com - polywaffle, on 06/08/2008, -2/+2Cant really see how these features would come in handy..
