Google's Response to Facebook: “Maka-Maka”

techcrunch.com — Google may have lost the bidding war to invest in Facebook, but it is preparing its own major assault on the social networking scene. It goes by the codename “Maka-Maka” inside the Googleplex (or, perhaps, “Makamaka”).

    Porn aside, a big reason it probably didn't' become a huge his stateside was the kept it invite only and it became filled with a lot of non-English speakers.

    However, the term exists in a context completely independent of that hentai. As I'm lead to believe, its merely a term for intimate, close communication.
    Whether someone can legitimately call a social networking website that, and understanding the meaning of the phrase, without snickering, is up to debate.

Does MSFT really think that Facebook customers are worth $300-400 each in revenue??? Even in the bubble that was 3x site/customer valuation.
    MSFT has lost it's focus with these silly ad revenue purchases like Facebook and Aquantive.
