- akchrs, on 06/21/2009, -0/+20Lets let them know through Tweets, emails, blog posts, message boards, and even an online petition that we aren't seeing anything.

- Zebceponaf, on 06/22/2009, -0/+6Those are air photos, taken from a plane.
This is from satellite. - snake1025, on 06/21/2009, -1/+6You're not the first one, but I will bury you anyway.
- Moralogic, on 06/21/2009, -0/+5I wasn't expecting the ability to tell who people are by their face or street view, but I was expecting as much detail as I can see with Hollywood, CA zoomed in all the way. So where 1 pixel = about 5-6 inches, or at least 1pixel = 1 ft.
- 1packer, on 06/21/2009, -0/+4You can when you launch it, that would be where the whole geosynchronous orbit thing comes in. I don't think any satellites could put themselves into it after they are launched, nor would any controller want to though.
- sockpuppets, on 06/21/2009, -2/+6Let's all welcome the last person on earth to the internet.

- 3tcp, on 06/22/2009, -0/+1Clearly he's some kind of bot or chinese office worker that just copies and pastes short comments so that they can spam or sell diggs while looking less suspicious.

- mikemehak, on 06/22/2009, -3/+1Google things this is a great idea until they bomb the google server.
The entire internet will become unindexed. It will takes years to reindex the entire thing. - urik88, on 06/21/2009, -3/+1As far as I know, you can't keep a satellite stationary or control it. They have orbits, and you can pass from one satellite to another and fix a bit the angle using mirrors.
However, I don't remember where I read it so I could be saying *****. - inactive, on 06/21/2009, -5/+2You people are sure nosy.
