- themaestro18, on 08/04/2008, -3/+36The folks at Yahoo are not enamored with Google. http://www.bestsnippets.com/post/44147570/not-ever ...
- vsujohn2, on 08/03/2008, -2/+33Do these people ever do any work?

- HisVaderness, on 08/04/2008, -5/+18Buried for ***** Server that Crashes.... Digg effect is NOT that hard to withstand. Seriously 5 dollars a month can buy hosting that can handle it.
- inactive, on 08/03/2008, -3/+16A company actually taking care of its employees? Other corporations should take note. It's an open, free environment.
No uniforms+Personal Freedom+Fun workspace = Productivity - MAGZine, on 08/04/2008, -0/+11Google catching itself?
*head explodes* - arcooke, on 08/04/2008, -0/+10Yahaha.
- vsujohn2, on 08/04/2008, -0/+8Of course they would
- phoenixrip, on 08/03/2008, -5/+13It just looks like such an amazing place to work.
There is a reason that the company is so creative and successful, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is in some part due to these brilliant work spaces! - vardhaman2249, on 08/04/2008, -6/+12Google caught it:

- Hockey13, on 08/04/2008, -0/+5Good point, willy. The internet wasn't invented so we could single out companies that treat their employees well by putting them on a pedestal so that other companies might follow suit. That's a stupid idea. This thing is here so we can look at pictures of cats with text superimposed on the image.
- ironeus, on 08/03/2008, -1/+5incorporating the Chicago skyline for said city's Google offices is very cool.
- bonlebon, on 08/03/2008, -0/+4Where are the Google offices in:
-Cucamonga
-Shell Beach
-San Andreas - jeffkee, on 08/04/2008, -0/+4The interface for Google Analytics.
Google Labs
Google Trends
Google Apps and Calendar Interface that syncs with your computers and PDAs, iPhones
I think they're pretty creative, intuitive platforms to use, both in function as well as in terms of usability and interface design.
Also note that to make all these services work seamlessly without crashing due to high usage requires a lot of intelligent and creative ways of coding and server balancing etc. - Necho, on 08/04/2008, -1/+5
- MAGZine, on 08/04/2008, -0/+4Just because you work in a space in which you're required to not ride your bike indoors doesn't give you the right to hate on everybody else.
- Dodobutt222, on 08/04/2008, -0/+4"Google Taiwan is located at one of the world tallest skycrappers Taipei 101, from 37th floor to 73 floor."
Skycrappers? I see..... - y0ssar1an, on 08/04/2008, -1/+5it looks like Fisher Price took a ***** inside an IKEA.
- Seann7656, on 08/04/2008, -0/+3I now hate my job even more. And I will be forever bitter until I work at Google!
- djchronz, on 08/03/2008, -1/+4how many google offices are there?
- freefoodisgood, on 08/04/2008, -0/+3I think the difference between Google and those dot com bubble busts is that Google has a valuable product. You can't just have a nice work environment and expect that what ever terrible idea you have to be successful because of it. Also, many of those companies blew venture capital on perks, where as Google blows their own money on it, money that comes from proven products.
- rivalius13, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2And their European headquarters in Dublin. Dublin is always missing from these articles.
- Boarhead, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2New one in Lenoir NC
- strykefive, on 08/04/2008, -2/+4WOW. Just gets better and better. Treat your employees right and they treat you right.
Other companies can learn a lot from these guys. - ilovemuffins, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2where are pictures from the office in london :(
- inactive, on 08/03/2008, -2/+4ask anyone who actually lives in Arizona and they'll tell you how much they hate that old "coyote howling at the moon" scene. It is plastered EVERYWHERE in the West.
Anyway, rock on Google, awesome company. - inactive, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2you probably won't, dont worry
- 0ceanic, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2wow, the chinese offices are sure proud of their 2 vending machines.
- {{sPaz}}, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2And the one in Israel.

I want to see a working lifestyle I will never be able to have and to make me even more jaded towards this job. - inactive, on 08/04/2008, -0/+1My fellow Diggers seem to have brought down the cached page too.

- NeoSeo, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1nice advertisement for Google. They paying digg by the click for this story, or just cpm?
- orangekid13, on 08/04/2008, -0/+1no it does not work
- Elranzer, on 08/05/2008, -0/+1Of course they want you to work there, eat there, work out there, nap there, play there... they want you to live there basically. They give you no reason to leave the office, so they have you nearly 24 hours a day. They don't provide this type of environment just because they're "cool."
- myownminerva, on 08/04/2008, -0/+1it is not displaying...
- eigenweasel, on 08/04/2008, -0/+1The London office was left out because it has teak-panelled walls, axminster carpets and is embellished with marble fireplaces and Louis Quinze furnishings.
The *old* London office looked just like all those others, but Google found that English people were spontaneously combusting when made to work in an environment that looks like a set from "Santa Clause: The Movie". - sfcaptainrob, on 08/11/2008, -0/+1There's a small office over in Ann Arbor MI as well.
- MAGZine, on 08/04/2008, -1/+1They play hockey in the halls and have steak barbecues for lunch weekly, too! (Not pictured, but very true)
- TehChemist, on 08/04/2008, -0/+0they left out the Pittsburgh office (located by Carnegie Mellon)
but I remember hearing that there is over 30 regional offices. -
