- theaceoffire, on 06/30/2009, -0/+28I would LOVE more news sites to stop using their proprietary and crappy flash player... especially since youtube will probably move to the "video" tag.
- 3rdDay, on 06/30/2009, -0/+9If this helps maintain the production of quality journalism then I'm all for it.
- inactive, on 06/30/2009, -0/+2You mean no more news video using crappy Flash players and .......buffering?
- uknowwhoibe, on 06/30/2009, -0/+2The kind of journalism that isn't name-branded.
- Unreal030, on 06/30/2009, -0/+2quality journalism? What's that?
- sampath3, on 06/30/2009, -0/+2good google news! :-)
- seekretive, on 06/30/2009, -0/+2It's about time Google got serious about profiting off of Youtube. But more importantly, I don't have to install a new video player for every damn news site I might visit.
- ahoier, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1It's not that :) I don't know how often you visit a typical newspaper site, but a lot of times, they will include videos (as previously noted, which use crappy flash players that hang, lock up, or just don't WORK lol) along with their articles, and Google is inviting Newspaper sites to use youtube for the content.
+1 for Google here!
