- digg it
- miloez, on 10/11/2007, -70/+10i thought the (NEW) said (NSFW) :(
- abbott75, on 10/11/2007, -72/+10I don't have anything to say, but people who reply to the first comment seem to get dugg up. I just wanna be popular :(
- TheCount, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3290% of the time, the first response to a story is from an idiot but you seem to me aiming to raise that percentage on the second response as well. Well done.
- kingkilr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+73Timeline view is godlike for school work!
- romulasry, on 10/11/2007, -29/+1Unreal...
Tournament that is... ;) - phyll, on 10/11/2007, -24/+3timeline view rocks, but even that isn't original check this out : http://phillmidwinter.wordpress.com/2007/05/17/google-copied-my-ideas/
i just wish google were MORE radical sometimes about releasing new features - igloo15, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9@phyll
His ideas are so vague and not unique that anyone with half a brain would come up with the same ideas. - Hydraulix, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5The keyboard shortcuts is something I've always wanted for a while.
- phyll, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1right, that's why you thought of them, nice one
- gfixler, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I like how the keyboard shortcuts match up with Vim. Google might accidentally bring it into the mainstream, after people get used to navigating with the hjkl keys. But probably not.
- romulasry, on 10/11/2007, -29/+1Unreal...
- Sp0rAdiC, on 10/11/2007, -2/+44I always like the Google Suggest, it's a shame it can't be integrated into iGoogle (what a stupid name...)
- 0x0000ff, on 10/11/2007, -1/+51I agree, iGoogle was a bad choice of names.
- artofwar420, on 10/11/2007, -18/+3What would you rather call it? pGoogle? personalizedhomepageGoogle? phGoogle? pooGoogle? Don't think so.
Oh, I'm actually asking for your ideas. - tygern, on 10/11/2007, -3/+20I think Gpage would have been a good choice.
- burkay, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15Poogle would do the job.
- holybazooka, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1well i just tried it and my igoogle has suggest.
i have the customize google extension, must be that. - j4200, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Suggest is still in beta is why. It'll be integrated into the igoogle eventualy
- pcarm92, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5EDIT: Nevermind, someone beat me to it.
- abbott75, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5@Burkay
Poogle is a trademark of Viacom, part of their Neopets franchise. - fragsta, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Ditto on both accounts. I've been using suggest for months now, it's great because it
1) Helps with finding the correct spelling of someone's name if you're searching for them, based on how many results each one has
2) Can show you the best search terms for a particular topic.
Very helpful, although oddly, a lot of people seem to find it annoying because it gets rid of autosuggest - but you don't NEED autosuggest if you have this. - se7en11, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3If you use Firefox there's a add on called CustomizeGoogle that does the same thing as Suggest does. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/743
- EssAitch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0You can now add Google Suggest to your iGoogle homepage using my gadget - iSuggest.
See http://www.simonhudson.org.uk/iSuggest.htm
- azntiger1000, on 10/11/2007, -17/+3I like the old interface better.
- quomen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+20You can choose to not use it.
- j4200, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2These features are just for people who sign up to accounts. Classic View will always be around
- ummmmm, on 10/11/2007, -9/+1oh those silly google people!
- ares623, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4those are some nice features.
- CAD420, on 10/11/2007, -0/+16On my personalized Google, they seemed to move the "Web Images Video News Maps Gmail More" section to the top left of the screen rather than having just over the search box.....I like it.... This really isn't what the article seems to be about..but it's a change nonetheless.
Yay Google.
- benplaut, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1AAAAAAHHHH!!!!
It's pushing over the search box causing sideways scrolling!!
$%&@ers!! - nikeairj, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@benplaut
You must have been using your computer with 800x600 resolution... Just max it out!
- benplaut, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1AAAAAAHHHH!!!!
- thewikiman, on 10/11/2007, -9/+1So far I think I like the old interface better as well... still, Google rocks, and I'm always willing to try something new when it comes to Google.... keep the good stuff coming Google!
http://pixelspotlight.com/ - thewikiman, on 10/11/2007, -6/+0Opps..didn't mean to post twice..I didn't see my first post show up... sorry bout that...
- badugi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0if there was a combination of left hand and right hand search navigation, it looks like the website might be too cluttered, affecting the useability. Unless there's an on and off switch or something. However, it seems very useful though.
- CybrStuff, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9I'm pretty sure that I prefer a mouse for browsing search results, but I love that they are using vi-style keyboard shortcuts.
- se7en11, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1It would be cool, but am I the only one that it was not working for. (FF 2.0.0.3) It worked until I went into the search bar.
- CAD420, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0On my personalized Google, they seemed to move the "Web Images Video News Maps Gmail More" section to the top left of the screen rather than having just over the search box.....I like it.... This really isn't what the article seems to be about..but it's a change nonetheless.
Yay Google.
Edit: As sp0radic said, I also don't care for the change to igoogle? I mean...wtf? They're trying to be more like Apple, Cisco, etc?- mporcheron, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It was planned to be called iGoogle since the start, I think Google may have delayed naming it this maybe to check out if people don't mind them using the name. (ig = iGoogle)
- CAD420, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Crap....Digg really has to increase that edit timer or allow one to delete their own darn post whenever...
- standleydj, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Go Google they are Gods
- Berrex, on 10/11/2007, -9/+0i heppy 4 goolge cos tehy are innerventingz. but wai dos it haf 2 b IN ALL WHYT!! wai no bleck? or gray. meng it wuld b ezr on my eys. lol

"buffer overflows" - http://www.google.com/views?q=%22buffer+overflows%22+view%3Atimeline - works
Microsoft - http://www.google.com/views?q=microsoft+view:timeline - No results found.
Surely some mistake, or are google removing Microsoft from history?- an7agonist, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It works with a space between Micro and Soft
http://www.google.com/views?q=micro+soft+view%3Atimeline&btnGt=Search
- an7agonist, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It works with a space between Micro and Soft
- MrMMM, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0I really liked the Keyboard Shortcuts Feature ..
Although I think that adding a shortcut key for Opening in a New Tab/Window is essential .. - gabbyph, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Hope it can be implemented soon... GOOGLE Rocks!!!
- enalios, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13man, that timeline feature is GENIUS!
- awahid, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0Kool
- AntoineDigg, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Some great tool, it would be nice if Google update its Gmail interface, they need to fix their UI problems.
- BaByB0y, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2That's really cool :D
nXqd - rd3k, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1hmmm http://www.google.com/views?q=%22digg%22+view%3Atimeline
- Radar5, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1the keyboard shortcuts are neat, though not likely to be used unless ur browsing for why your mouse isn't working
- Powerlock, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Not completely. I work with disabled people, some visually impaired using speech or braille output, others not being able to physically use a mouse but are able to use a adapted or on-screen keyboard. Great feature for them. (If we get the screen readers to follow the 'cursor' in the search results)
- gaohui, on 10/11/2007, -5/+0而且是个没广告的google搜索
- Pensador, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I loved the new visual style on search pages! The grey-to-white background on headers (instead of plain blue ones) looks sophisticated and "2.0" while still being simple.
- vsumner, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0cool!
- thoand, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Cool. But I wish they still could indicate when there is a PDF behind the link.
- Aninhumer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Hehe the keyboard shortcuts uses VI bindings :P
J/K = up/down
o = open
/ = search - mennis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1http://www.google.com/views?q=diggnation+view%3Atimeline&btnGt=Search
- aluminumpork, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The keyboard shortcuts are really nice! I could really use those.
- sebassucc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Sweer
