- jotux, on 04/06/2009, -0/+73In England, it is against the law for cars to wear silly hats.
- ignacious, on 04/05/2009, -8/+70OMG another Google Street View story!! So exciting!
- inactive, on 04/06/2009, -3/+59i hope they show the pics of them getting tazed.

Regarding the comment section on the site, how come there is ALWAYS one ***** who just *needs* to comment on how google is "invading" our privacy. It's not that I don't care about our privacy; I just think people need to shut the hell up and post something more original.

- inactive, on 04/06/2009, -0/+19That's what she said.....wait, that doesn't make sense.
- radison2, on 04/06/2009, -0/+18The story just gets more and more exciting and crazy with every detail I find out. How do you think this will play out? Will they end up having to pay the ticket or will they appear in court in with Google Lawyers™? Will said lawyers use Google Docs™ on their Google Phones live in the court room to knock some adSENSE into the judge? I am peeing my pants with anticipation!
- trip9, on 04/06/2009, -0/+15Wow... that's ridiculous.
- aywwts4, on 04/06/2009, -0/+15"completely founded link to lolcats
http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2009 ... - K4Lic0, on 04/06/2009, -1/+15Does anyone know why it was pulled over? Unless it was for speeding, I assume they were wondering 'wtf is on top of that van?'
- dsmx, on 04/06/2009, -0/+13Wrong country.
- borez, on 04/06/2009, -4/+16"completely founded comment about police brutality and/or abuse of power*
- godsdead, on 04/06/2009, -0/+12I love the way that google left the police car number plate visable :)
- Samohtneas, on 04/06/2009, -0/+11Isn't there some issue in England with people taking pictures of public buildings and/or police officers?
- Samohtneas, on 04/06/2009, -1/+12Not to mention anything you see on Google Streetview is anything that anyone can see anywhere by simply walking or driving down that road. It's the same as someone taking a picture of their friend in a busy sidewalk. Tough *****, get over it and get on with your life I say.
- dextermanas, on 04/06/2009, -1/+11I wonder if Google's Cam caught any crime taking place.. would be interesting to watch the events unfold in 360°!
- inactive, on 04/06/2009, -0/+10I have a bowl of CEREAL.
- inactive, on 04/06/2009, -0/+10New legislation in the UK means anyone taking photos of the police will risk arrest and imprisonment under anti-terrorism law, the section 76 of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008. This not only includes professional photographers, but the "Counter Terrorism Act allows for the arrest and imprisonment of anyone whose pictures are ’likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism’."
http://www.eyeflare.com/article/take-photos-police ... - recockulous, on 04/06/2009, -0/+8Go figure... the Anti-Google-map-car Nazis live on Godwin Street. The debate was over before it started.
- Greengoo, on 04/06/2009, -0/+7More like braking, amirite.
- rheaume, on 04/06/2009, -5/+11***** with the street view car = DIE
Mount some ***** cannons on that ***** - K4Lic0, on 04/06/2009, -0/+6Ah, gotcha.
- fxu1989, on 04/06/2009, -0/+6Coneheads?
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 04/06/2009, -3/+8Oh, be careful with that submission! It's an antique.
- Philbert, on 04/06/2009, -2/+7Is it me or is the police car in the Street View shot a different one than the one in the original story? The car in the original has a lot of red on it, while we see a different angle in street view, I don't see any red at all.

- ColdDimSum, on 04/06/2009, -2/+7The government has MASSIVE numbers of live cam feeds up all around most cities, plus millions of private CCTV cameras watching every street corner store and ATM machine. People who worry about their privacy are b!tching up the wrong tree. At least most of these are posted for all the public to review -- god only knows what the government has tucked away and to me a continuous video stream of most of the city is far more worrisome than Google street view. Google already tries to blur out most faces and if there is something there you don't want people to see just ASK them to remove it, they have been very good about trying to blur faces, etc. Do you think the government is willing to blur all the faces in the video they have?
- stoneage, on 04/06/2009, -0/+5The drivers aren't even Google employees. They are sub-contracted in the local area.
- flintmecha, on 04/06/2009, -0/+4Anybody else having trouble getting the maps page to load?
- radison2, on 04/06/2009, -0/+4***** exciting no???
- frankdozier, on 08/10/2009, -2/+6Bummer, they blocked the views on google!

- 123keepitup123, on 04/09/2009, -0/+2Hilarious.
- browman, on 04/06/2009, -1/+3And for an added bonus... license plate blurring fail.

- jamesmcginnis, on 04/06/2009, -0/+2The only red on a Bradford (West Yorkshire) Police car is on the rear
- inactive, on 04/06/2009, -0/+2don't taze me bro
- kiwimonk, on 04/06/2009, -0/+2Maybe cops should have the same cameras on their cars?
- unusualbob, on 04/06/2009, -1/+3anyone happen to mirror the images, looks like google pulled them... just like everything else interesting :(
- wigren, on 04/06/2009, -0/+2Sadly, that's what she said.
- welshie, on 04/06/2009, -0/+2The number plate blurring possibly got a bit confused trying to understand "ƎↃI˩Oꟼ" written on the front of the police car. It also quite often confuses road signs, or writing on the side of vans as licence plates. Note that is has blurred the top of the grille.
- deej99, on 04/06/2009, -0/+2er this is outside the police station in Bradford, hence the car...
This pic has nothing to do with the car being pulled over. - bobdigi, on 04/06/2009, -1/+3BUUUUSTED
