- GuyHitByTruck, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16Gesundheit..?
- NinjaBoy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+15I wonder how Leo Laporte feels about this. He is the only reason Jaiku got popular in the first place.
Well I guess I answered my own question before edit time ran out. He likes it - http://leoville.com/blog/ - SirBotchness, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Next they'll buy facebook or Chevrolet or something.
- theinept, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7You must be on Web 1.0. These sites are all Web 2.0, sorry.
- FreakyD, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Jaikuugle
- hanapbuhay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Of course Leo will relish this, he started hating on Twitter when he thought people would confuse Twitter with TWiT. C'mon now Leo, people that go on Twitter and TWiT are not your AM radio callers, they know the difference.
- skell, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Makes me wonder if there was ever an offer for Twitter and what they turned down...
- indieAnnaJones, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5ctrl+c, ctrl+v
- SimonDee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2amazing. well done jyri, you deserve it!
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Spam.
- subliminalurge, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4The upgrade version is on sale at Best Buy for $79.99. It does require that you have a valid CD Key for Web 1.0, though.
Anyone know if there's a crack or keygen out yet? I don't want to fork over $299.99 for the full version. - RonAcierno, on 02/07/2008, -2/+4I wonder is Leo Leporte has enough of a diehard following that he can turn sites into multimillion dollar site.
Makes you wonder were Twitter would be right now if he wouldve just stayed with them. - sthorpe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1yea but what about the others they collected? Ahem,..dMarc Broadcasting or Dodgeball? Still don't even know what happened to those guys.
- pault107, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Reported - almost all of SNESpwns comments are spam - http://www.zuubu.com/default.html?selectedtab=comm ...
- Dhalgren, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Maybe Jaiku will finally be useful... Maybe I'm just not using it right. What I would really like is a one stop shop for all of my blogs and stuff I do online that I can point family and friends to. I would really like the option to identify an image with each feed so that it's not just my one image for every post. And, I would also like to option to include all content, not just an excerpt...
- hansonc, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Some people are actually smart enough to write their own headlines and don't just copy paste.
- DBDelicious, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Microblogging is more immediate than posting to an app like Wordpress. Once it reaches it's full promise of integration with location services then you will have something really cool. I think that as it exists right now microblogging fits somewhere between IM and blogging.
- mc4_a, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I'm pretty happy about this. I worried about Jaiku not having a revenue model. This takes care of that. Additionally, Google has been pretty good about not screwing with its successful acquisitions.
- nelswadycki, on 10/14/2007, -0/+0I think there's also a larger opportunity for Jaiku as a mobile application. The one they have already is pretty impressive. Integrating the lifestream with the mobile/cell phone address book could be really cool.
- corsairstw, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3Whaaa? Google bought Jaiku? This seems like the weirdest acquisition of theirs so far.
- chris9902, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3I've never heard of this site. I'm starting to think I use a different internets to everyone else. I don't know any of this sites that get bought.
- mandarin, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2So people do blog on their cellphones these days?
Is that why we have an influx of digg submissions with blogs that have no content except for links to another blog??? - mixellita, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1I've heard that they're planning to buy the MOON
- rYno, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1coool
- Singee15, on 10/10/2007, -11/+6Finally! I really felt that Jaiku had a lack of Ads
- madeinbrazil, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2What will Google do with this? Integrate with GTalk, GPhone or GPhone OS? More ideas at http://tinyurl.com/2blknk (in Portuguese).
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -20/+3***** google.
