- Wisgary, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23I remember being offered a free pickle hat by some pickle company website. I NEVER GOT MY PICKLE HAT!!!!!!!
- superpixel, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7I remember when "free stuff" and sites giving things away were all the rage-- in 1999. It was a great way to get spammed the rest of your life, although thankfully most of those freebie sites died off in the bloodletting... by restricting to blogs, you're more likely to get one-off contests and such, lower participation rates, and maybe less likely to get spam. Maybe more likely. Bring your frying pan. Still, this article points out some neat stuff.

You can even use the Blog Search to subscribe to the RSS version of the search for whatever type of contest you are interested in winning. Cool. - secretivecoward, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0I seached google blog search the other day and found some free stuff. best thing so far was this as it ships right away instead of 6-8 weeks. Just make up some fake emails and its all free including shipping!
http://www.handstands.com/freestuff - ExtremeRyno, on 10/12/2007, -30/+2This was a pretty good article and I'm glad to have read it...Maybe one day I'll win something...Anything...Maybe I'll win an award for the amount of elipsis per post...But I'm not sure if there's an award for that...Anyhow, I'm fine with signing up on any contests around...There are an unlimited number of yahoo and hotmail email addresses to be had for these sorts of things...I've got 5 or so myself at the moment...Not for contests...Just...Well, just because.
