Bangladesh, my homeland will be wiped away... Although i've never actually lived there (I live in Chicago), i've visited there many times and have inhaled the culture and atmosphere. It's sad to see it slowly get swallowed by the sea with melting glaciers and rising tides. But no one will care unless it's happening to them, in that case, "Why is the rest of the world so indifferent?" and the people who these tragedies don't effect will continue to say "Man, someone should do something.". History just repeats itself.

What a bunch of *****. Why was Swiss Army Knives on there? You can still buy them and they are still quite useful. Also, this is for a very narrow segment of the population and probably doesn't represent how 99% of the global population will live.

I cant believe they think National Sovereignty is already dead. Sure globalization has helped increase the importance of NGO's and other political actors but to say that nation states do not mater is ridiculous. I mean come on, the war in Iraq is proof that wars are still fought for national interest.

The trouble is, none of the people making the predictions are as smart as Hari Seldon, or Issac Asimov for that matter: they forgot the Mule. The Mule is that which can't be predicted, the wrench in all their works...the Deus Ex Machina...the X factor.

I strongly disagree with the death of Pacman in 1990. Pac-Man Championship Edition came out last year on the 360 and it's ***** awesome!

is there a workbook that explains the chart or is it a visual enigma folding in upon itself? As the charter has most egregiously left out the End of this system...the entire chart is skewed toward errancy without edges. The chart itself would become a collector's item except that collecting will itself is reaching it's end. And none too soon. btsmu

Not to roll out some conspiracy theory BS, but I think we're at a much higher disadvantage these days. I think that the powers that be have the means for mass brainwash, in the form of the massive media, and in pop culture to some degree. I also feel like there's more on the table these days than there was before. I have a hard time sleeping at night knowing that hundreds of thousands of missiles -- missiles that are capable of annihilating entire cities and their surrounding areas -- are stashed away quietly just waiting to say hello to the world, and I fear the day that they do.
Friends, why can't we live in a world of cooperation, and not a world of competition. :(
