"I also did not enjoy not having access to MSN messenger, which is important to me, and possibly your daughter"
"He told me I was pretty good for a newbie. I had the same to say about his daughter, minus the newbie part." - xerus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+21"I'm qutting. Recognize that." would be my favorite.
- chris9902, on 10/11/2007, -2/+17just wait for Dell to start selling Linux. that should be fun...
- BenBenMan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15Dugg for the American Beauty reference in question 19.. "fantasizing about a life that does not so closely resemble hell". Best movie ever.
- RCcola159, on 10/11/2007, -2/+15That was hilarious. I wonder if he really turned it in.
- fluxboxuk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13So where are the phone pics of this Pod G girl we keep hearing about... ! ;-)
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12Not sure, have I seen this before?
- Shadowrose, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11I worked there for two months before they became as evil and totalitarian as they are. Yes. It really -is- that bad.
- ganjadude4391, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11new to me, funny as hell,

George Carlin was funny 30 years ago, still funny today so STFU - deadbaby, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8No Digg is not a news site -- it's more of a social bookmarking site.
- xabi4eva, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8wat the hell!?
so "DELL" isn's a version of windows!?
*****! - Tarmas, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6@undersky
Dude, you seriously need a blowjob. - hardwareguy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5At least he had a pod G girl.
I have no such luck at my job - mlkmnz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Unfortunately if it was real, this guy would come across too childish to be taken seriously.
- ChronicColonic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Eligible for rehire? Damn straight! We have management material right here.
- anthonyk28, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Yeah...this isn't real. My guess is it's an extra copy of the blank exit interview he took home and filled out without having brought it back. Because you'd not only be fired as an HR rep if this ever got back to Teletech, you'd be sued right through your ass as well for breaking confidentiality. And they don't let you take it home, fill it out, and bring it back. You fill it out on the spot, assuming a security guard didn't have to carry you out the door.
I worked for Teletech for three years, and aside from being run with clockwork precision, it exists to fill a non-existing vacuum. It's a made-up industry that has no purpose. And my exit interview included a fair amount of swearing, and endless stream of sarcasm and contempt, and at some point when she asked me if "this is really the type of job in which you're most happy?" I believe I said something that shouldn't be repeated in public. So I certainly can believe this is what the guy felt when he left.
But this is not the copy that sits in his file at Teletech. - wedesoft, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Maybe someone doesn't know the funny McDonalds application form yet:

(unfortunately it's only an urban legend) - Rooster99, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3HAHA!! By the looks of this, Verizon Tech Support has the same arrangement as Bigpond Internet in Australia. Its not actually Verizon employee's, they are contracted out through a company called TeleTech. This is the worst company on the planet!!!!!! NEVER WORK FOR THEM!! From what I read on this exit interview, it seems like TeleTech is the same over there as it was here.
Once again: If you ever get offered a job at TeleTech, you would be better off blowing your own head off than accepting the position. - McTendo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I work at RoadRunner's NHD as a support tech (those Canadians you get when you call for internet issues) and I can relate to this. People buy those damn EMachine ***** computers from WalMart then call up asking why it runs so slow, then they get pissed off when you ask them to reboot because they _know_ there's a chance Windows won't even load up after that.
And don't even get me started on Katrina. We were in the red for weeks from people calling in asking for CREDIT. We honestly had a pre-made script for those people that informed them 1) we are just techs, only their local office can issue credit, and 2) that they're local office had been evacuation from the FLOOD and we had no idea when they will be back, if ever. - scarwars, on 10/11/2007, -0/+216. Company Benefits
Comments:
"I did not work there long enough to recieve any benefits. The blond girl in Pod 6. however had large breasts and i enjoyed looking at them every time i went on a break."

class - prophase, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2My oh My. I think that anyone who has worked in a large call center for any amount of time can identify with at least half of those responses.
- Bossman1086, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Speak for yourself, buddy. I'm pretty sure most diggers spend a fair amount of time on their computers.
- xtraa, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1it is funny but it seems to be the truth and verizon should take this serious because feedback like that are gold.
- Waredgo, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5"Man, this is old. Funny, but I can't believe more people haven't seen this."
Maybe because we don't spend every waking hour in front of our computer. - jazzmess, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Ha, that's pretty good, I can relate to some of that. But I would venture to say that working for the Verizon Fios call center isn't as bad as working for DSL. (as a matter of fact, from the DSL folks I've had to transfer to, I would bet on it).
Although, you do have to explain how to turn on a tv sometimes. Or what a router is. But there are great perks! Like one time the managers told us that if [Idiot McDouche] calls, we have permission to hang up on him. So I looked up his history tickets and they were filled with gems like "Asked to speak to the head idiot and then started counting down" "When I didn't get a supervisor by the time he counted to 30, he hung up" and "Said it's a good thing he's not a terrorist... whatever that means." Ha ha ha. - shunpike, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1very old but i laugh every time i read it. Thanks for cheering up my day!
- eyko, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1I do, so do all of my contacts. Europe.
- SamKellett, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Lester Burnham's last front with his job was the best ever.
- theblogverse, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I wish people wouldn't dig down such commentors as undersky and unreg.
They are the funniest posts dammit! - patmfitz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Couldn't be true: nobody uses MSN Messenger.
- RichMig, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Its a good thing he changed his comment about the supervisor from "F-ing A-hole" to "fair, responsible supervisor".
You shouldn't burn your bridges. - cdefg, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Dugg for "Sorry Tom, I'm not sure that's legal."
All I kept thinking was "No freaking wonder they're moving their phone support to Bangalore." What are the chances their Indian employees feel this way about their jobs? - mikeyeah, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1@ guttertrash
Dugg down for spelling digg wrong. - mydave, on 08/01/2008, -1/+0It was hilarious.

- CryoNine, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Pretty sure it's fake, but that's not important now. Did you guys happen to notice Scribd has a digg-like voting button!? HOW DID THIS GET PAST OUR RADAR? What a rip-off!
- Bossman1086, on 10/11/2007, -6/+4Man, this is old. Funny, but I can't believe more people haven't seen this.
- DarthShaun, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Sheer Brilliance, He sure is socking it to the man.
- andrewsas, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Comparison with the Nazis was neat! DIGG
- proliance, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0Seems like he spent a lot of time complaining about uneducated customers. But wasn't it his job to educate them?
I'm guessing this is fake, but if he thinks he's going to find a job where he doesn't have to put up with people upset with his company's products and services, then maybe he should cut his wrists now. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1Fantastic, another underemployed, track bike riding vegan is back on the street.
- 4UIDigg, on 10/11/2007, -8/+2But it's not Verizon's fault that some customer does not know that "Dell isn't a version of Windows".
- awhiteflame, on 10/11/2007, -9/+1oh snap.
- PaulOwen, on 10/11/2007, -11/+1Surely if he handed this form to his employer, he wouldn't have it still and therefore ... wouldn't be able to post ... it here?
Hmmm.
I suspect he was actually a good little worker, who licked ass constantly. Revenge is sweet, but this is lame. - undersky, on 10/11/2007, -12/+2this survey is a sad demonstration of a loser who clearly will not find success in any career. people on this board who praise for this kind of behavior clearly will have little success in their careers as well.
i am glad he left the company; he probably was worth nothing to its shareholders - guttertrash, on 10/11/2007, -13/+1isnt this a NEWS site? this is OLD. what happend to the OLD NEWS dig down....
- pilot3033, on 10/11/2007, -26/+5Indeed, that was hilarious...a year ago.
