- superal1394, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2this could be a cool thing for RPGs in a few years. Go to the camera place and have them make a texture for your guy. that would kick ass.
- hamster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2no digg, this has been used in the 3d industry for ages upon ages.
- Braingoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2ITS YOSHI! from the screen savers I knew I recognized him. Umm even all flatted out.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0BTW, he's wearing a skin cap. The extra cloth is bound up. That's the labia looking thing in the picture.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's creepy because it looks like the skin of the head was flayed off and set down flat on a table. Hannibal Lector anybody?
- ctomasi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool pic. It can be done with an X-ray too!

Haha I'm surprised by that too. I was going to say something about it just now, but figured that a million people had already referenced it. But apparently not. - indication, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Haha I remember doing exactly this when I took a Maya workshop. We had to use photoshop to create this 360 degree view using our own heads. We then attached them onto a model's head and made the model walk forward. It was so funny watching your self walk forward using this game-like animation.
- unclejesse0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Boooooooo! They used a Sony camera. Boooooooo!

- hamster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Philbert: p e l t m a p s.
- Philbert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"The real fun is in UVW mapping the model... *Shudder*, thank goodness for ZBrush!"
If you're using Lightwave I recently wrote a tutorial for Lightwave3d.com on using ClothFX to unwrap a head.

- beejay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This reminds me of the work my uncle did in Hollywood in the mid nineties. He was the operator of a 3d laser scanner for a studio. He scanned a lot of celeb heads.
Anyway, I'm more excited to see the texture after it's mapped onto the model. - falloutsyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its creepy cause it looks like hes been skinned. no pun intended
