Flickr's excellent Xmas easter egg
boingboing.net — Flickr's got an awesome Xmas easter-egg: if you add a photonote called "ho ho ho hat," Flickr draws a Santa-hat on your pic; make one called "ho ho ho beard" and you get a snowy white beard.

The "X" has 2 very different uses. The traditional would probably be based of the abbreviation for Christ as XP (you'll see this as a P with an X through the stem). The other, more modern function is to secularize the holiday.
