- ileftfark, on 01/10/2009, -2/+17This is just part of a growing trend of Mozilla and Google drifting apart, which was exacerbated by Google Chrome. It's interesting to see how Google is building a relationship with Apple now, despite Android directly competing with the iPhone. In a way, I kinda wish these companies could form like Voltron (hell, throw Nokia and Garmin in there too), and release some mecha device that would do everything.

Yandex is the most popular search in russia so it is the default google is the most popular search in USA UK and a lot of othere places so it is the default.

- CrushThemTorg, on 01/10/2009, -1/+7This is a good move. Google gets its ass beat in a lot of non-English markets (case in point: Chinese and Baidu), I'm glad they are willing to do a little damage to the companies' long-standing relationship to deliver the best user experience.
