noozeez.com — This story is geared towards Diggers and I just signed up for it and liked the interface, and the ability to make files either private or public and send someone a download link rather than emailing a big file. 250GB free online storage...wow.

Also dont be uploading anything like pireted material though this should go without saying. And dont use a password that you have used for anything.

      It's registered to a residential address using namecheap. The site owner is using a free Gmail address. That, and no CAPTCHA, and no email verification, and the fax is listed as "+15555555555". All this makes me very suspicious. Just don't use a password that you've used before, or you might get owned before the 15th.

      If you want to check that it uploads and downloads properly, you can do an md5sum on the original and the up/downloaded one.

      Yeah, they'll have a bunch of people mooching off of them till 2038, but not everyone that gets an account will use it, and hopefully the publicity will bring in a bunch of new users.
      And if worse comes to worse, all they have to do is close down the site, reopen it under a new name, and charge money for it. Then they will know that their servers can handle the kind of load that digg et al can bring, and all us moochers will be gone.

      1) One cant have an email @filedropper.com until one registers and you cant register unless you put an email (like gmail)
      2) I know I will have the gmail account in case one of my other emails attached to a domain expires.
