I really dig Feedburner, I met some of those guys in Chicago a couple of months ago and am a big fan of what they're doing. It was very forward thinking of them to build a business on RSS feeds.
- bscott86, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ok, I'm going to be the first to say it - I have never heard of BlogBeat. I am an avid TechCrunch reader, but somehow I missed it. Does anybody have an idea as to how many users BlogBeat had at the time of acquisition?
It sounds to me like FeedBurner is just using this as a way to expedite development of a feature that they would have otherwise done in house. I bet the acquisition price was not more than 10,000-30,000 USD.
