- yrewol, on 11/06/2008, -2/+53no doubt with enough embedded ads to make it impossible to watch, and poor quality video so no-one is tempted to save them locally
- djmccormick, on 11/06/2008, -3/+32I personally have no problem sitting through advertisements similar in length to that which we're used to on traditional television. I want these guys to be rewarded for their efforts in putting their content online. What I don't want is some sort of obtrusive DRM-laden piece of crap. I'm sure we'll all be looking at Google to see how successfully they can make the content profitable and still accessible.
- Winkythecat, on 11/07/2008, -0/+24I hope they disable the comment feature if that's the case.
Can you imagine 1000s of wannabe imdb film whores talking about continuity issues? - iPanda, on 11/07/2008, -3/+19Oh, so i don't have to watch them in parts anymore?
- spritom, on 11/07/2008, -4/+16I don't have a clever quip.
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -2/+9:)
- jeremymccurdy, on 11/07/2008, -0/+7I'd like it if they just disabled the comment system in general...
- inactive, on 11/07/2008, -0/+6Didn't YouTube introduce feature films already? I even remember watching it a bit. Or am I from the future?
- gettempapa, on 11/07/2008, -1/+7I'm glad you have some insider information that none of us are aware of.
- SIRBERUS, on 11/07/2008, -0/+6I don't have all your answers, man! Just take the money and leave us alone!
- wiggum1, on 11/07/2008, -1/+7Of course this will NOT work outside the USA Cheer!!!! sigh...
- Kragnerac, on 11/07/2008, -0/+5Will we be able to watch them at resolutions higher than 480×360?
- dvsbastard, on 11/07/2008, -1/+5If there is no geofiltering I will welcome this with open arms..
- roxgod666, on 11/07/2008, -0/+4Something tells me you're not being sarcastic...
- vdogg89, on 11/07/2008, -1/+5cant wait to watch full length movies in crap quality. They should move the push towards 720p like vimeo
- sint4x, on 11/07/2008, -1/+4No doubt anyone outside the US will be graced with the "Not Available in your Country" message.
- ElBeh, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3Awesome, that means that I'll actually be able to download them. Hulu videos can generally not be downloaded, and often get messed up if it actually works somehow.
- scully32, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3or you could just watch them on hulu right now.
- WalterSobchak88, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3they should allow independent directors to distribute films on it. so we can put our own films on. after all it is our tube.
- inactive, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2What spells 'ads' with two d's?
Fool - vdogg89, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2wasn't that google video?
- saadkamal, on 11/07/2008, -2/+4This is a duplicate entry of this: http://digg.com/tech_news/Feature_films_coming_to_ ...
- Tyrghast, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2They shouldn't use youtube, they should take the route that NBC and other networks have taken, hosting their own higher quality streams. I dont mind breaking primetime shows in to three parts, they would have commercials on cable anyway. For movies, however, they should show ads and trailers for about 10 minutes, let you watch the film, and end with a few more ads. That would be perfectly fine even for someone like me, who thinks the people who force ad's on us should take an extended stay in hell.
- Murdats, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2the reason half the people don't believe truthers is because so much of the 'proof' they use has been refuted so its generally safe to assume anything they present has already been refuted (hey just like creationists and the like), the conspiracy is ill defined and on such a large scale that it seems unlikely and half the truthers believe in other bizarre conspiracy theories so show themselves prone to these sorts of ideas.
and then the other half of the people just assume conspiracies are impossible and like to deride other people. - Murdats, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2I think this reporter is from the past, that or people on the internet live further into the future then everyone else, it would explain a lot like why everyone was saying how great it was that you could voice chat online for free when for years I had been voice chatting with dozens of people at a time.
- aussieNickuss, on 11/07/2008, -1/+3I watched Click in 12 or 13 parts a couple of years ago on YouTube. It was up for about a week before it was pulled.
- HomeNucleonics, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2They're all ***** sheep maaaan.
- stuffradio, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2"We're sorry, you're not in the U.S."
Damn Americans! - InfernoX, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1"This video is only available for residents of the United States. You are not from here so gtfo my youtubes"
- samssf, on 11/07/2008, -1/+2Yeah, the problem with cable television is that you have to spend 30% of the time watching commercials, yet you're paying for the access / content. Cable television should either be free of charge or free of ads.
I don't mind ads when I'm getting the main content for free... - inactive, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1 The problem I have is there are too many ads,and they last too long. Why can't they just say:"This content is brought to you by Fritos (or whatever))? I don't need to watch a freaking song and dance,or some stupid cartoony of bears dancing around a roll of ***** paper,or whatever. Commercials are so irritating,I simply will not watch them at all. i even mute the sound.
- electrifried, on 11/08/2008, -0/+1this is brilliant news!!!!!! cant wait til they actually release some movie lol...though i do wonder bout the quality
- GogDog, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1Buried for dupe.
- aenegeling, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1here here!
- theutopian, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1Yeah because YouTube has such great quality in full screen mode that I want to sit in front of my comp to watch a movie. No thanks, DIVX is the way to go.
- inactive, on 11/07/2008, -1/+2Chock full of BS advertising like commercial TV heh,I won't ever WATCH um.
- inactive, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1Two points to the Sherlock of Reformation!

- cddict1, on 11/07/2008, -1/+1why it won't work outside USA?
- cadmiumpaint, on 11/07/2008, -1/+1youtube = ***** quality. vimeo rules.
- 6minuteabs, on 11/07/2008, -1/+1No thanks. I'll go to Hulu to watch movies and keep YouTube for what it's good at- farting monkeys and pointless teenage vlogs.
- Deeh, on 11/07/2008, -1/+1@Murdats:
That's a pretty moderate point of view, but I disagree that the truther's evidence has really ever been refuted. Some has, but the main problems still stand.
Did you see the new footage of building 7? - inactive, on 11/07/2008, -1/+1I hate studio channels for they don't let you embed. I should look a site that allows me to embed unembeddable vids.
- SiRWhxr, on 11/07/2008, -2/+1As for now Hulu is my top choice.
- inactive, on 11/07/2008, -2/+1Whaaat? I don't get it. :) But to be honest it kinda sounds like your screwed?
ps- What money are you referring to? I just want to watch a quality show without the crap. - umbrellainabin, on 11/07/2008, -4/+1YouTube Feature Films + TubeSock Video Downloader = FTW
