- synae, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I wonder how many people have logged into Facebook since the change compared to the number of people who have joined groups like these (the group in question is up to ~411k now).
- JosiahQ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ya, it's not like you couldn't find out all this info with a few clicks anyways. It just makes it easier. I mean, is it really "stalker" for me to know who the friends of a friend are?
- GopherGod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1IF you are really annoying, you can poke Mark until he submits.

- patrix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1a bandwagon effect? Is anyone even thinking this through? Privacy concerns are flying left, right, and center. Heck, the Boycott Facebook for a Day on Sept.12th" even asks politicians to get involved. Yeah, right! like they are going to protect privacy of college students.

- markus941, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Well yes, it's available information, but no, people did not agree to having it THAT transparent. It's the fact that they made it
1. so much easier to stalk and
2. made it the default
(I've elaborated on this a bit more here: http://blog.auinteractive.com/facebook-introduces-stalking-20)
300K complaints in 48 hours is still not as impressive as 1.25M pics geotagged in less than 24 hours on Flickr.
