- chembro84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Big surprise China is on the list :)
But i thought they were to become leaders of the internet with their ipv6 implementation, when will they learn that for the internet to be successful, it needs to be free. - OnlyShawn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10@zeroMP
suuuure....*that's* the reason your shirt and your keyboard are all sticky. - ZeroMP, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Oh my god - never before has there been a need to censor the internet like soybuddha's MySpace page!
It's so awful (don't look diggers - I'm warning you now!) It is soooo awful I attempted to flush my eyes with Mountain Dew as soon as it loaded and now my shirt and my keyboard are all sticky... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5HIGH FIVE!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Why would Nepal be on an enemy of *anything* list ... what're the Nepalese going to do ... throw a Sherpa at you while praying you reach enlightenment?
- mousy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Why try and control the internet.
- no8286, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Lmao North Korea. Does even 10% of the country have the internet?
- Daunting, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Man. It feels like somebody took a bat to the source code of that myspace page. Then shat on it.
- WarpFox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Notice the french flag duck- this guy was a contestant (and possibly the winnner) of the Zefrank "I knows me some ugly myspace" contest. This whole page was designed to look as ugly as possible, the french flag duck icon being displayed on the page was a requrement.
Zefrank is a hero of free thinkers everywhere, his stuff is some of the best ive seen on the internet: http://www.zefrank.com/theshow - foamweapons, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Enemies of the internet? What about the Telecoms???
AT&T Chairman Edward E. Whitacre Jr. complained that Internet content providers were getting a free ride: "They don't have any fiber out there. They don't have any wires. . . . They use my lines for free -- and that's bull," he said. "For a Google or a Yahoo or a Vonage or anybody to expect to use these pipes for free is nuts!"
That's right. All those webservers us Digg users have, we are getting a 'free ride'! Did you plant fiber in your backyard? No? Then the bandwidth fees you pay for your webserver mean nothing. Imagine if the people of Egypt, Libya, or Maldive had to pay AT&T fees everytime they posted content.
Suppression of bloggers? Forget that, Telecoms want the ELIMATION of all bloggers. - theboyqueen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think maybe you have Nepal confused with Tibet? Nepal is a very violent place; it has been in the midst of a brutal, Maoist-fueled civil war for many years now.
- b-dizzle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Now these are the countries that need to be "liberated".
- vvvv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2At long last, the threat to the internet posed by the Maldivian scourge has been lifted. I know I'll sleep easier.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1youtube/google "Leroy Jenkins" it's a WoW thing.
- jgtg32a, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3touche
- Hercules, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1One enemy of the Internet -- a Dump Truck.
Because the internet is NOT a dump truck.

- Tiak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd preffer the term nozels.
- mousy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Forget tubes, that page came out of a drain!
- xGORDOx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2What, George Bush isn't on the list?
How did this even make it on Digg if it isn't anti-American or anti-Bush? - oxandrolone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Theboyqueen, The fight is over. We are back to praying for enlightenment now :-)
- OnlyShawn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0help me out here....what's the "leroy jenkins" joke?
- Phoenixheart, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No surprise why China, Cuba, and Vietnam are on the blacklist - they are all socialist countries. And even an ass knows how Bush and Blair LOVE socialist countries.
- nkovacs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dugg for using Antitubes in the title... lol
- oxandrolone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0why isn't pakistan on the list? they still block blog pages that may "offend islam"
- Chompy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2What, no Ted Stevens? He's doing more damage than any of these slackers.
- greatblackowl, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Yeah... It really gets annoying when people refer to the internets using broken politicianspeak.
- kajoob, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4STOP WITH THE ***** TUBE JOKES!!!!
- flink405, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1How many of them are Muslim countries????
How many are dictatorships?
How many are both?
Guess I don´t to worry about any snide remarks from people in those countries....LOL - jgtg32a, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2bury
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+1honestly the author of this article should think again what he said, not the dirty bbc who tell us which country is blacklisted only cuz they don't like it.
"Many of those on the internet blacklist are countries that are regularly criticised by human rights groups, such as China and Burma."
Yeah maybe the gov doesn't want there the population depend on american ***** of the net or watch pr0n all day :D
I hope blogging will be commit as a crime one day so the monkey get off from the net :~ - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -12/+1I'm the 14. =E
