- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+98"what kind of idiot uses a .22 for a mass shooting? My friends buddy got shot 7 times with a 22 and was fine (no major organs hit)."
The kind of idiot that kills 32 people, you insensitive *****. - vulgate, on 10/12/2007, -6/+84uh oh... there were video games on the graphing calculator he sold. Better call Jack Thompson!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200070466090 - aplardi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+64Not to mention... are Dr. Phil and Jack Thomson gonna start saying that eBay causes people to go on rampages?

No kidding. - DurkaMcDurk, on 10/12/2007, -8/+44http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200070466090

/s - crestfall, on 10/12/2007, -2/+36@ babbics - from the profile of the ebayer from the last transaction.
"SINCE THE VT SHOOTINGS I'VE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF HATE MAIL AND INQUIRIES FROM PEOPLE. LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR THAT I DID NOT IN ANY WAY SELL CHO GUN PARTS OR ANYTHING ELSE. I PURCHASED A VT/BOSTON COLLEGE BASKETBALL TICKET FROM HIM. I MISSED THE GAME BUT I PAID FOR THE TICKET ANYWAY. I DO NOT HAVE THE TICKET TO SELL YOU SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME FOR IT. I LIVE NEAR VT AND WANT QUIET TIME WITH MY FAMILY TO GRIEVE FOR THE PASSING OF OUR STUDENTS. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME ANYMORE OVER THIS MATTER. STOP HARASSING ME."
The other one is obviously a gun accessories dealer. - vulgate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32I wonder how many media whores have contacted that seller through ebay
- vulgate, on 10/12/2007, -2/+34I guess msnbc can post whatever they want too....
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18246522/ - udflyers, on 10/12/2007, -3/+34Feedback left for ssurface6298: "Opted for local pickup. But didn't respond to email to make pickup arrangement"
Smart move in hindsight. - thornbottle, on 10/12/2007, -3/+32Do you think it was the negative feedback that made him flip?
- cankillar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+28Ouch... bomberkids was on there.
- tcooper185, on 10/12/2007, -14/+39Dupe comment...sorry.
- vulgate, on 10/12/2007, -9/+31looks like he gave out lots of negative feedback and usually just one work responses
- vulgate, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23http://apnews.myway.com/image/20070421/Virginia_Tech_Shooting.sff_NY116_20070421190733.html?date=20070421&docid=D8OL9JRO0
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Because the media's exploitation of this tragedy has only just begun.
- Namco, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18From the auction: "Remember to SHOOT STRAIGHT and TAKE A KID HUNTING OR FISHING"
- opes, on 10/12/2007, -7/+21Its time we started banning football tickets. Cause we all know, guns dont kill people, the football tickets sold to buy the guns does.
- canyadigit, on 10/12/2007, -7/+19He's thinking that he wants to make a living and doesn't have the capability to perform psychoanalysis on his customers before selling a perfectly legal item. Damn anti-gun sheeple just piss me off, how about if your 1st ammendment right to be post retarded comments were infringed upon as you seem to be insinuating the 2nd ammendment right should be infringed upon?
Digg me up, down and sideways...I'm not that vain as to care. - TekeeTakShak, on 10/12/2007, -10/+22Damn, that's the most awkward feedback I've ever seen:
Good
Good
Good
Great
You can tell just by that how messed up this guy was. - rksprst, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14"what kind of idiot uses a .22 for a mass shooting? My friends buddy got shot 7 times with a 22 and was fine (no major organs hit)."
You're a ***** *****. Trying to show off that you know something about guns by suggesting that he was stupid for not using a higher caliber thus killing more people. You're the idiot here for saying that. He ***** killed 32 people, I think in this case the .22 worked just fine. - harrier666, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Hopefully, "I am not at fault for the actions of this kid. He is solely responsible for his actions despite the media's attempts to blame everyone else. The kid would have got the parts elsewhere. For every psycho murderer, there are millions of gun enthusiasts that enjoy shooting at a target on a range or in another reasonable location that won't likely cause injury or damage."

a south carolina state trooper was killed in 1992 by one .22 bullet. the guy that shot him had been hit five times in the chest with a .357 caliber revolver and ended up living.
it's not what you shoot them with, it's where you hit them. dumbass. - tcooper185, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12CNN also reported this was his auction "handle."
- crestfall, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9@betacmag4u
Gee, I guess he wasn't thinking straight. o_0 - bbardlbradd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7We should go a little further... Ban internet.
- caffeinated, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8You can't buy "ammo" on eBay. He bought two magazines for the 22...
As for the seller, he probably will get more business out of this. I wonder if he's selling any mags for a GLOCK 23. - crestfall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6No, he doesn't. And big media doesn't deserve to shape the story as they see fit, when we can get more accurate information on the Internet.
- nizzy1115, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6For the 2 removed listings, the first one the guy said he bought basketball tickets but did not go to the game but paid for them anyways, and the second seller is a gun seller selling mostly PISTOL HOLSTERS....
- kiteracer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6EXCLUSIVE!
Cho was a fan of the Harry Potter series.

http://www.wistv.com/Global/story.asp?S=6408726
"He sold a Texas Instruments graphics calculator that included several games, mostly with mild themes. He wrote on the site, "
uuuh it included several games. I just HATE crap like that. "There's not a real story here but we wish there were and we are trying to make it interesting anyway". - ericnmu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Because this is digg, we're geeks, and it's interesting.
- AeroZeppelin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@betacmag4u
Welcome to my blocklist, *****. - utkwes, on 10/12/2007, -7/+12I found this kind of disturbing on the auction page:
"Remember to SHOOT STRAIGHT and TAKE A KID HUNTING OR FISHING" (emphasis not added) - checksumz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Creepiest eBay profile ever.
I need to stop reading about this guy, gives me chills everytime. - SLP1111, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6It was chilling to click on the link to the 2 magazines while browsing the feedback.
- harrier666, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Because we as humans, most of us, can not fathom what drove someone to do this. We feel as if there must be something somewhere that sets this guy apart that will 1) make us feel safer that it won't happen to us and 2) make us believe we can pinpoint why this happens and stop the next psycho. Humans are natural pattern detectives. All part of grieving and understanding.
- slapded, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4he sold a book on lesbian love-making
- opes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4He bought alot of rubber duckies!
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2007/0422071cho1.html - macdaddydwj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4this comment is horrible... and yet I still laughed... how desensitized are we?
- u2wedge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I laughed when one of the news organizations called Cho's feedback 'superb' with a 98.5% rating.... personally, I think that sucks. Anything less than 100% positive for small time sellers is indicative of issues, imho.
- roostishaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Blazers5505@hotmail.com
...creepy. - herro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4i opted for 'up', but this digging sideways idea intrigues me.
- Akronos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Agreed. But for some reason, I'm just too curious to see how weird this dude is... I mean was.
- joel8x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ban school while your at it.
- Namco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3HOLY CRAP! Check out his Half.com profile. It says "This seller is on vacation. Please check back later to browse and shop their entire inventory."
http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:tzSuu1cWTPIJ:product.half.ebay.com/The-Female-Of-The-Species_W0QQtgZinfoQQprZ45574750+blazers5505&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=16&gl=us&client=firefox-a - has2k1, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7He only left 3 negative feedbacks. I don't know what to think after looking at the feedback he left for others. Anyone notice he did not leave any of that feedback that we non crazy people leave, I mean the super A++++++ and the like type of feedback.
- thedobber, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Lighten up Francis
- DonRoberto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3You're all wrong, we've got to ban human interaction! All killings in human history have abused the laws leniency with human interaction, spread the word.
- SwissCamel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4It's a shame he let his lust for revenge get in the way of what could have otherwise been a very successful ticket touting operation.
