DirectX 10's absence on the XBOX360 won't make any difference

xbox360.qj.net — Just a while ago, ATi revealed that the XBOX360 won't be getting DirectX 10, or rather, it cannot run DirectX 10. Uneducated folks might see this as a bad point. Thoughts like "It's not futureproof" might come in the minds of most customers. Well, how about we tell you that the absence of DirectX 10 won't make any darn difference to the games.

  • miketuck3r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It did make me ;laugh when i saw the oroginal article proclaiming 'xbox 360 cant run direct x 10' well guess what ps3 can run directx 9 (but opengl can be used to the same effect) or 10

    at least the xbox360 has 80% of directx10 features..
