- kevinrose, on 08/02/2008, -5/+156Had a meeting about that today :)
- Cytranic, on 08/02/2008, -10/+113Boy this kevin guy is as bad as babyman. All his stories launch to the front page...lame
- Sunscreen, on 08/02/2008, -11/+97OH HAI KEVIN!!!
Make a native Digg iPhone app :) Pownce even has one! - doshindude, on 08/02/2008, -35/+69Buried as blatant spam.
Just download firefox. It's the same thing only better. - ha3er0, on 06/16/2009, -7/+38Kevin Rose only has 97% popular stories. You suck Kevin !!
- ImYourRealDad, on 08/02/2008, -4/+30It looks cool, but a "deep integration" with Digg isn't enough to warrant me to change my browser.
- andrewtheart, on 08/02/2008, -2/+28It's not popular enough to *be* rated.
- clickfire, on 08/02/2008, -28/+43Flock is underrated.
- jakbrud, on 08/02/2008, -10/+24How is this spam?
- Briii, on 08/02/2008, -1/+15saw that twitter you sent out for iphone developers
were getting an iphone app for sure! - josh1413, on 08/02/2008, -2/+16No thank you.
- borez, on 08/02/2008, -3/+14Flock is a great concept, but IMO but once you have Digg, Facebook, Twitter and Flickr etc. all running at the same time, it just becomes sensory overload to be honest and you get lost in it.
- xceptionaly, on 08/02/2008, -2/+13I feel like it needs a more streamlined interface somehow. I've never used flock, and the idea seems interesting, but the way its presented in the video makes it look like sensory overload with all the 10 million buttons and sidebars and things popping in and out.
- cobalt8888, on 08/02/2008, -5/+14Flock is built on the Firefox browser....
- cobalt8888, on 08/02/2008, -3/+11I've been using Flock since the FF3 beta version was released. The social integration is cool, but I'm still kind of on the fence about it. It certainly seems much slower sometimes.
- afrothunderman, on 08/02/2008, -1/+8Using the 2.0 Beta 2 now, I love it.
- EvanHamilton, on 08/02/2008, -2/+9You can get a beta of Flock 2, based on Firefox 3, at http://www.flock.com/beta/download. The final version will come out in the next few months.

evan at flock dot com - damagedone666, on 08/02/2008, -1/+8I never really cared much for the web 2.0 stuff but, having used flock... I really like it.
I want more of my friends to use it so that we are all better integrated... unfortunately very few of my friends are geeks. - rapcrap187, on 08/02/2008, -1/+7Holy crapola, that was a lot better than I thought it would be
- ortucis, on 08/02/2008, -0/+6"..because it encourages *****.."
Yeah, thank my atheist god for the quality lists.. err, articles submitted along with 4chan pics. I sure hope Flock integration doesn't cause a dip in the quality level, the amazing standards established through hard work of people like MrBabyMan.
It'll be a tragedy, the end of Digg. - ImYourRealDad, on 08/02/2008, -1/+7Yes, but the reason I use Firefox is because it is not bloated up with all these things I may or may not use. The only toolbars/apps that are displayed in my browser are because I put them there. I realize you could probably remove all unwanted add-ons on Flock, but aren't they pushing their browser because of these features? Why download a browser and water it down if I already am using a browser that perfectly fits my needs? I'll try Flock, but I'm no where near convinced upon first look.
- NexusV2, on 08/02/2008, -2/+8I use Flock, I love it!
- nickycakes, on 08/02/2008, -14/+20so ugly
- MacBookForMe, on 08/02/2008, -1/+7I simply love different data streams integration in Flock web browser!
- djlmnts, on 08/02/2008, -1/+6I LOVE the Digg integration!!! I also love the facebook, twitter and all the other cool things that Flock has done. PLUS since it is based on the FF engine, all of the FF Add-ons work inside flock. So really Fock is EVERYTHING you need. My hats of to the Flock Developers and I can't wait until 2.0!!
- spanglegluppet, on 08/02/2008, -2/+7A Digg iPhone app would be nice, but for now m.digg.com does the job well. :)
- stisaac, on 08/02/2008, -1/+6Personally, I prefer firefox. But the video is exactly what the digg story claims it to be - doesn't seem at all like spam. It's even relevant to digg, and it only tried to peddle viagra at the very end.
- ZGambit, on 08/02/2008, -3/+8LOVE IT XD
*Starts ***** himself* - pcgeek101, on 08/02/2008, -0/+5This is also known as "brown nosing"
- kalleanka, on 08/02/2008, -0/+5Great, now I can waste even more hours of my days on digg!
Soon I be fired. - rivalius13, on 08/02/2008, -1/+5Good to see you clicked the link.
Oh wait.... - inactive, on 08/02/2008, -0/+4I love Flock because I can post to any one of my many many blogs in 1/2 the time it normally takes. I don't have to find the bookmark, wait for the page to load, click the log-in button, wait for the page to load, then go to "write", and finally start typing.
Apple-shift-B start typing, and that's it! (That's Ctrl-shift-B for you ghetto-types) You can even write posts when you're offline. Sitting in a park that doesn't have wifi, sitting in your underground lair etc. - DomZy, on 08/02/2008, -1/+5It integrates into a lot of other stuff as well, check their homepage
- Amorn, on 08/02/2008, -1/+5As long as he's not 'Flocking' his 'digg'
see what i did there? - Ratty, on 08/02/2008, -4/+8No, it's not.
- agentlame, on 08/02/2008, -0/+3I see what you did there.
- HMMcKamikaze, on 08/02/2008, -21/+24How about a Flock integration in the Firefox browser?
- Jimilawnmower, on 08/03/2008, -0/+3Flocks cool . If you use Firefox , give yourself a break and download Flock , it's exactly the same under the bonnet ... they say a change is as good as a holiday , so I've heard ? Plus if it doesn't "work" somewhere it just means your lazy , stupid , and probably have a low IQ , get it ? Digg .
- TheTaoOfBill, on 08/02/2008, -2/+5Basically a bunch of ***** kids decided it was funny to make fun of someone who lost 2 friends at Virginia tech and complained when someone made a tasteless Virginia tech joke by saying "***** you! two of my friends died!"
I guess it's fun to make fun of recent tragedies - Sunscreen, on 08/02/2008, -1/+4:D
- cobalt8888, on 08/02/2008, -1/+3I've been using the Flock based on Firefox 3 since FF3 was released...
- izikdela, on 08/02/2008, -3/+5Only Flock 2.0 Beta 2 is underrated because not TOO many people have heard of it.
Flock 2.0 Beta 2 Download: http://flock.com/beta/download/
Not only does it have digg integration, but also:
youtube
flickr
facebook
pownce
twitter
photobucket
picasa del.icio.us
AOL mail
Gmail
Yahoo! Mail
and coming soon... myspace. (if you're into that kinda stuff)
And other great features like the web clipboard and an easy photouploader that will upload to multiple sites at one time.
The number one reason I love Flock:
RSS.
Sure, other browsers have it, but flock is definitely the best I have seen. I wouldn't use RSS on any other browser. Flock makes things so easy and convenient.
and the other number one reason, (doesn't make sense I know)
It's based on the same framework as Mozilla Firefox 3.01.
Flock + Stumbleupon toolbar = Best browser EVER! - level, on 08/02/2008, -1/+3Flocks appearance makes all the other browsers look outdated. It has a beautiful interface to it. Lot's of nice features as well. I love flock!
- Atomic1fire, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2Still lacks an (multiprotocol) instant messenger
I think flock could use one especially with its focus on social - MavRevMatt, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2So? It's still Firefox, which at times is slow enough by itself, coupled with a slew of extensions that slow it down even more.
- doublej42, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2I run both, this way if some script or addon crashes my firefox my facebook does, crash, and vise versa. It also means becasue I'm running a non beta flock I can run FF3 and FF2 side by side. At work I have tons of developer addons like firebug. My flock install lacks all of these and there for for checking my e-mail is much faster.
- smartmlp, on 08/02/2008, -3/+5Can we get a Windows Mobile digg app?
- MtheoryX, on 08/06/2008, -0/+2No, it really doesn't.
- eatasandwich, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2Flock is great. I use it all the time. It's just firefox with a few extra bells & whistles. The new beta is just as good as the new firefox in every day use. I don't notice any speed difference. I'm not really into the whole social networking side of things, but I do appreciate the flickr integration and "accounts" function (delicious, webmail, wordpress etc).
I use firefox too, but so does my girlfriend. I share my computer. I have flock set up the way I like it to be and she does the same with firefox. I have no problem sacrificing firefox to her!
As I said, it's just firefox with a few extra bells and whistles. You can't change it's appearance much (there are not many themes), but the bells and whistles are well implemented, and you probably download similar extensions for your installation of firefox anyway. I think it's quite likely that the speed issue complaints come from those who have yet to try to new beta. Why not give it a whirl like I did? I think it's worth dabbling with. -

What is Digg?
