- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2OMFG: Buckethead -- Soothsayer. This song transcends genres and is a must for anyone who claims they like music, i.e. anyone with ears.
- xpose, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Now this is a true Web 2.0 site. The popups about the music you are streaming on the bottom right are very very cool. Maybe VH1 can sue them for that one? hah
- itsJALbert, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1How did this not hit the front page?
- Proctor, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Brilliant Idea. I'm always looking for new music and this will definitely help me find some.
- StoneDead, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1haha, this was the first song I navigated to when I went on the site, I'm impressed to say the least.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1I like how the music keeps playing even if you click on a link.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0wurd.
- jibrienne, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0I like the concept of the site's design (IE users pick their favorite songs). I'm surprised that no one has thought of this earlier. Seems a very logical next step.... The layout is also very good. Good work.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0I'm not sure "MMO" is the right term here. Maybe a massively-multiplayer music community that feels game-like, but, then again, what the heck am I saying....this is friggin tight.
- ChemEKraken, on 11/28/2007, -0/+0Rock-tacular
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0calm down hombre. u know u only fight because u love her.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0Definitely. I'm in love with her songs. Best on IMO is "I Don't Think So." I think she MAY have also been featured on Grey's Anatomy last season...I think.
- rychvz, on 12/03/2007, -0/+0YES!!!
- datagog, on 12/10/2007, -0/+0Like it or not, this is ingenious. Take the time to browse a bit and the clear enthusiasm with which they approached their subject shines through. Like an open fish market, these songs are definitely the catch of the day, are you listening Songfish?
- wtfbbqlol, on 11/28/2007, -0/+0friggin awesome!!
- LordSkywalker, on 11/27/2007, -1/+1Since most of the other comments sound bought, I'll add mine. I think the site is pretty ugly. Doesn't really have a central focus. Looks just splashed all over the screen.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0It does look kind of cluttered at first, but it becomes a lot cleaner once you create an account and login so all the help messages go away.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0Some of the songs seems to originate from music blogs.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0Are we looking at the same site? Dont mean to sound dumb here, but my sister was looking at this on her laptop and for some reason her brightness/contrast settings were way off (i guess she never noticed considering she only uses her computer for word and excel, which are nearly white...). so the site looked like absolute *****...no outlines, borders, just lots of stuff on the page. maybe you're having the same issue lordskywalker?
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+0So I would imagine you're big fan of sitting at your desk using seisure-inducing myspace. commons sense says your face is ugly.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0Wow, that first girl in the first song has an amazing voice. I can't believe she isn't hit it big yet.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0I remember seeing this in the ol Demonoid forums.. Wow, it's really gone in a nice direction. Can't believe I'm running into it again.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0Yeah, those collections pages look like they were pretty freakin hard to get right. dang, it feels just like a desktop app.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0I just 'bumped' a song twice.. It wouldn't let me bump another time because it said I was too low level. So i guess that means the higher level you are the more you get to bump the same song.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0Fantasy sports for music is correct. This is pretty effing cool.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+0Um, it says RIGHT ON THE FRONTPAGE in big bold text..."musicans upload music." But I do agree that the stuff on the frontpage is pretty damn awesome.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -2/+0Sweet, I love MMOs...it sort of reminds of fantasy sports, but for music. I like how you don't have to register to listen to stuff. Pretty neat.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -2/+0I wonder where they get their music from. Even though the artists seem obscure, the music is surprisingly good (radio-quality or better).
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -2/+0Wow, interesting use of karma applied to music. Wonder what they were thinking when they had this idea.
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -2/+0I just started creating my own playlists... I was impressed by the UI. It's pretty cool that you can do all that in a browser
