- Cannon13, on 10/18/2007, -2/+38Is this a joke Leah? You work with him, so why bring up something like this on Digg instead of talking to Kevin?
- jramos, on 10/18/2007, -2/+28OMG I THOUGHT OF PROFILES FIRST!!1!!11
- chrisnixon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18Isn't it interesting that Leah has un-dugg this?

- sp4rky, on 10/10/2007, -4/+18Two of the three people behind Pownce are also behind digg's deisgn...why is this a shocker? I can see that you might think it weird they didn't ask about your list but is it really necessary to make a digg post about something you could have literally just called these guys up and asked? And for Christ sake where did the idea of Pownce brew from...Twitter? I love Pownce and your work Leah so don't just pass this of as "another hater."
- felch, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11more like pablo picasso you tard
- killerofkiller, on 10/15/2007, -3/+14damn thieves! :p
- qubitz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Why are you posting this to digg Leah, did Kevin start forwarding your emails to /dev/null again?
- NextGenXbox, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Way to be professional there. Instead of talking to your co-founder in private you make a public digg post. Nice.
- DuxDucis, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12Pownce sure seems like a small testing ground for addons to Digg.
- killerofkiller, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9http://i20.tinypic.com/1j9n5k that was essentially the pic
- omgsoemo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11I still think Pownce should have been built into Digg more, I thought the original design for Pownce was a message system for Digg itself
- FZero, on 10/10/2007, -7/+15I've already said Pownce was useless, so I won't repeat myself.
I lied.
POWNCE IS USELESS AND REDUNDANT. If you invent something new, maybe it will be worth using. - inactive, on 10/18/2007, -3/+11"Since I originally came up with the Pownce gender list, I'm somewhat miffed that Digg copied Pownce."
I didn't see the picture, but I'm with you, Leah. It doesn't even seem to work within the Digg model. It serves no purpose but to allow for people to shout spammy stories to others' walls. I'm really disappointed that Digg's new vision focuses less on the social news aspect and more on the social aspect. It totally killed the original concept upon which this site garnered popularity: putting a focus on stories that users deemed worthy of attention. - cfinke, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Pownce must be doing pretty poorly if this is what they've come to in order to drive traffic.
- mojaam, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8How weird this story never made the front page or shows up in here submissions: http://digg.com/users/leahculver/history/submissio ...
- paris75, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Maybe Leah was a little drunk when she posted this? Nothing to be ashamed of.. ***** happens.
- rYno, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7wow he invented "dude", "chick", "fellow", "chap", etc....
man you should talk to al gore about the internet...
quit bitching, my god, it's a simple list... whine whine whine cry cry cry - ugh - Tabou, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5She must've been drunk to post a such silly complaint.
- drunkentoad, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8The picture has been taken down.
"Freedom of speech, just watch what you say" - Ice-T - jwhiskey, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/09/24/pownce-vs-dig ...
TechCrunch just wrote about this.. Hmm...What WILL Kevin Rose do? - atariby, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Pics or it didn't happen!
- jaroche, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2this is so funny xD
- SimonDee, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Can this be settled onstage at FOWA next week?
- Konstantino, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2o rly?
- judsond, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You're right, it's like twitter without SMS... The key component of twitter... It is pretty though.
- JimCropcho, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's kind of ironic that you're using Digg as means to propagate this message, as you're somewhat miffed and all.
- nofxjunkee, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1http://www.uncov.com/assets/2007/9/25/pownce-digg. ...
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/uncov/~3/161135843/ ... - jarjarbinks, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I thought the same thing.
- LazyBoy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1shady.
- N3wtR0ckn13, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2pfff...i don't believe this for a second.
- zeroK, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Has anyone actually seen that image? ;-) If not it definitely got the attention that whoever is behind this wanted ;-)
- akash8m, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4She has a right to complain, Digg should stay away from social networking aspects, we just need news and comments.
- BarbaraKolbe, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3Original post is now gone at Pownce. Why? This makes me wonder if I should be at digg or at Pownce. I *prefer* Pownce but, pleez folks, let me know! Thanks! -BarbaraKB (loyal Pownce Person)
- Baku, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1All you need to do to see what Leah's on about is the gender dropdown lists on both Digg and Pownce.
- mangandini, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Wow, this dugg doesn't apper in any digg's page :D its hidden :D
- phej, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1hmmm, image deleted. looks like someone pissed someone off.
anyone got a mirror so we can see what she's bitchin about? - Baku, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1To be fair it does seem to be carbon copied from Pownce's system... and IMO Kev should've at least mentioned that it was going to be incorporated... Better yet - asked permission, as he is the CO founder next to Leah.
On the other hand, its not like I couldn't see something like this coming - I was half expecting Pownce to be fully incorporated into Digg tbh. - MikeonTV, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Owell said it would happen.
- DjArcadian, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1http://www.duggmirror.com
- diggablestory, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2so did Kevin also copy how to create Digg? :) features are meant to be copied; if you wanted it top secret, you should've hid it.
- dotBen, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1HAHA this is so funny. Foolz
- sunburntkamel, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1it's a pretty insulting list, i wouldn't be proud of having come up with it.
- bworp, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0I just thought I would digg this to see if it shows up on diggnation. I don't see what the bigg deal is, all sites borrow features from other sites to make them better.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Mirror?
- smaragd, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Pownce is very useful, and certainly not redundant since there's nothing like it out there. (If you think it's like Twitter, you're an idiot.)
- floridiot2, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3Leah is my golden fleece.
- gypsyjoe, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1They are both douchenozzles.
