Digg Copies Pownce [PIC]

flickr.com — Since I originally came up with the Pownce gender list, I'm somewhat miffed that Digg copied Pownce.

    I didn't see the picture, but I'm with you, Leah. It doesn't even seem to work within the Digg model. It serves no purpose but to allow for people to shout spammy stories to others' walls. I'm really disappointed that Digg's new vision focuses less on the social news aspect and more on the social aspect. It totally killed the original concept upon which this site garnered popularity: putting a focus on stories that users deemed worthy of attention.

    On the other hand, its not like I couldn't see something like this coming - I was half expecting Pownce to be fully incorporated into Digg tbh.
