- StandardsDT, on 11/07/2007, -0/+6As I stated in one of my comments at mixx. I'm really starting to not like digg. Everything over here is about competition, who can make the front page first and the ever so constant digging down comments just because users can for the heck of it. digg as stated by another member at mixx has become the "cool" place to be, become filled with low quality submissions, and a ***** load of spam.
mixx is going to end up being a high competitor against digg soon. mixx isn't a digg clone it's diverse in it's own way. The layout is much cleaner, the comment section isn't broken, the filters are better, multiple categories, etc. The list goes on. mixx takes the best of digg, Reddit, Propeller, etc and blends them together to make a fantastic social site that surpasses digg and others. If digg wants to remain the top dog they need to fix a lot of major issues on the site, let the users who were banned for stupid things back in, and whole lot more. - joshuaer, on 11/09/2007, -0/+5I like allot of the stuff mixx is doing, I also like the fact that i have not been banned 3 Fing times from Mixx for making fun of Kevin Rose!.

I used to be an avid digger, but no more. Not only are the features in Mixx superb once you take the time to use them, but send an email to their support they'll send you a response. Not only a response, but they take criticism very well, ask your opinion on how you think stuff should be, and its not an auto-response. - captaindigger, on 11/07/2007, -0/+1Mixx is great!
