- vemon388, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I really like what you have done Andrew. Good Job!
- vdxc, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4I agree, going directly to the article link is one of the reasons why I switched to reddit as a main source of news. Maybe this will bring me back to Digg more.
- Daisuke, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4oh, damnit! they're going to have a c&d letter by the end of the week... most every website so far with "digg" in their url has been sent one.
- sewalsh, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3great idea. this only does the front page stories, is there any plans for other areas also?
- RubberBinder, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3awesome, works great on my N770
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3My dreams have been realized. Thank you Andrew!
- AssProphet, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4This is "okay" if you want to one general feed, but you can already do a lot better that this if you don't mind subscribing to different sections.
I'm using the rss feeds from the different pages like feed://digg.com/rss/indexapple.xml and feed://digg.com/rss/indexdesign.xml etc. then my feeds are limited to 40 at a time per section, which is far more than 100 for the general feed. I also use an RSS reader that stores the feed so I can read and search items that are no longer in the current 40. - suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Especially after these profile changes I'll vote up anything for faster Diggage.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I also want it to wash my car, pay my bills, and a side of fries please.
- Daisuke, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3if you understood any of the description you may have used a computer sometime in the past 10 years.
seriously, it's not in another language or anything. and why is it considered a bad thing to know something technical? - sewalsh, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2thanks, that's awesome! why has this story only 299 diggs and was taken off front page. suspicious.
- God, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3http://piggfeed.com
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It should be easy enough to adapt to include upcoming stories, only difference is the url to digg's rss feed.
It's nicely done but I hope you're not too attached to that domain name. Google "trademarks" some time. - mdman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2so I only have to log in 15 times while browsing Digg now?
- unitedstatians, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I use Original Signal feeds every morning to help me distill the Digg dashboard. Here's a short description, Original Signal offers a one page overview of the seven main Digg categories showing popular headlines during different time-frames of the day. Also marks stories that you haven’t seen in orange. It only marks stories orange if they were added since the last time you visited the site. http://digg.originalsignal.com/
Here'd the alternative Digg RSS Feed. http://feeds.feedburner.com/originalsignal/digg - atariby, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's using feedburner to cache and distribute the feed otherwise the performance would be shocking
- ScottWC, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Took a look and I think mine is better. Has no tracking of your clicks through feedburner and links to several back up sites right in the description.
http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=YNoDa9ln ... - vdxc, on 09/29/2008, -1/+1So basically, you'd trust Yahoo! over Google. Which one didn't comply with a US Gov subpoena and which one handed the data over "willy nilly"? I don't quite remember.
- Xlr8ed, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Just use Google Reader, easy great search built in and I have at many times had hundreds of items off the main feed
- Lightspeed2, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1not using the website just because its being "web 2.0" by missing a vowel in the url
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1If you understood any of the description you might need to just stop and think about your life for a few minutes.
- Jeffrr, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1thanks, I don't think mashable needs the traffic anyway
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1This is all fine and dandy, but does it show who buried certain articles?
I mean digg shows who digg articles it would be nice to show who buries them too. - crazyeye, on 10/10/2007, -4/+0I can't figure out how to use this thing. Any suggestions? When I click the link I just get to that main page. how do you access the articles?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -12/+3u can do the same with yahoo pipes, nothing new here
