- acidandspatter, on 07/27/2008, -2/+31That is one of the best minimalist interfaces I've ever seen next to Flickr.
- inactive, on 07/28/2008, -5/+23digg me up plz. mom's mad @ me.
- connieLingus, on 07/28/2008, -1/+8there just waiting for a simultaneous release party with the new GnR record and duke nukem forever.
- vdog, on 07/28/2008, -0/+6No. Nothing can be the new DNF. The Airbus A380, even with all it's delays , has taken less time.
The even entire freaken Apollo space program took less time. - WordsnCollision, on 07/27/2008, -8/+13Delicious and Reddit may be minimalist designs but they're also a biatch to navigate. It's hard to understand what the point of using them is.
- inactive, on 07/28/2008, -0/+4WHAT?!?
For me del.icio.us is genius / intuitive. It's one of the most astounding things on the internet. - AparoidX, on 07/28/2008, -1/+5Okay, that was funny like, yesterday.
- infiNex, on 07/28/2008, -0/+4delicious is awesome and i appreciate their level of development. keep it up gang.
- medeshago, on 07/28/2008, -0/+3I don't get how could reddit could be hard to navigate, I find it simple, easy to navigate and with an amazing comment system.
- Zdax, on 07/28/2008, -1/+4Yahoo! has friends?
- Drakonik, on 07/28/2008, -0/+3Well, the thing about minimalist interfaces is that you only see what you explicitly ask for. With the Yahoo! front page, for example, there's finance news, romance articles, and news about celebrities. None of those interest me, but the feeds are part of the page itself. Google's page design, however, requires that you explicitly specify what data you want display on the page.
It's nice to have a lot of data available, but for a lot of people, these 'portal' pages that try to host everything in a single 800x600 block is more noise than signal. - greenawlives, on 07/28/2008, -1/+4"Yahoo ’s inability to launch Delicious 2.0, which was feature complete and in private beta back in September 2007, has become a bit of a joke around Silicon Valley..."
Delicious 2.0 == the new Duke Nukem Forever? - lopla, on 07/28/2008, -1/+4most.retarded.domain.name.ever
- eliburford, on 07/28/2008, -0/+2The softer blue color will be a welcome change imo.
- allnone, on 07/28/2008, -1/+3You're a tool.
- lithite, on 07/28/2008, -0/+1So what? Del.icio.us is being used by a small, dedicated fanbase who really couldn't care less. Those who do care are more likely to be threatened by change than to welcome new features. This is a year too late. There was a time when Del.icio.us was gathering new users, but that time has passed.
- thoand, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1Small fan base??
According to the delicious site it has over 5 millions users.
Off course not all of them are active, I guess Wikipedia is more accurate which state "3 millions users". - championchap, on 07/27/2008, -1/+2People always praise Flickr for its design.. I have to say I honestly don't see the appeal.
I think the delicious 2.0 design is much more attractive.
Or am i missing the point? are they praising its function over its form? - inactive, on 07/28/2008, -0/+1Yep, I am all for digg with busted tee ads.
- mkpaa, on 07/28/2008, -1/+2Seriously.. Why are they changing the name? Also the site is mainly for storing bookmarks, why does anyone care what it looks like? I use it daily, but I've only visited the actual site like 10 times.
- inactive, on 07/28/2008, -2/+2Regarding Reddit: so you think the zig zagging of text on the interface is somehow fulfilling a purpose? I thought it looked like something that a high school programming class turned out. I've been to Reddit two or three times and never was impressed enough to get an account.
- Galaxylander, on 07/28/2008, -4/+4I think I'm the only person who still can't stand del.icio.us's design.
- strevoir, on 07/28/2008, -2/+1Actually i found del.icio.us is easier to remember than delioicus
- nationalist, on 07/28/2008, -6/+4i think a few of yahoo!'s friends died while revamping deli.icio.us
- Jeremyz0r, on 07/28/2008, -7/+4I've been waiting for Trillian Astra, how long has that been in Alpha? :|
- eyepatch100, on 07/28/2008, -6/+1had to digg you.

- appleseed1234, on 07/28/2008, -18/+6***** you, 2 of my friends died trying to find out when Delicious would be released.
