We believe the specific reason was contractual in which Incisive Media and Danny couldn't come to terms on some sort of equity in the future of SEW and SES. What will happen with Danny? - chlee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is indeed a surprising development! For SES, my guess is that, things will pretty much be the same in the short run, as agenda/speaker/etc are fairly set already. In the long run, though, this may affect the quality of the SES conference (especially if Danny decides to start another one... guess which one most speakers and most attendees are going?) as someone (or some group) needs to make sure the agendas are to be up-to-date, and prominent speakers are there to present.
