- specv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0a basic single purpose processor is quite simple (what they are currently building) where as a multipurpose process (intel/amd) is much harder to create. So to think they will even be able to make something comparable is ridiculous. The time and money spent on intel/amd chips couldnt be touched by anyone without many years of design and implementing

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I somehow doubt a newcomer corporation could get even close to beating AMD/Intel's processors. Mainly because of the decades of propriatry technology contained within their silicon cores.
Remember, they make chips for cameras and the like, not high-performance 64-bit x86-compatable processors, which (presumably) are a lot more complex. - glafira, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1I think they can and worse they will.
