- scottybowl, on 10/12/2008, -0/+13does it really need to be on 4 pages?
- centran, on 10/12/2008, -1/+9You can only fit so many ads on your page. multiple pages means possible more revenue!!!... *****.
- PatrickA, on 10/12/2008, -0/+8A better & more advanced article, all on one page too:
http://www.blogstorm.co.uk/advanced-google-analyti ... - nickycakes, on 10/12/2008, -0/+6wonder how many friends he had to beg diggs from to get this frontpaged
- sayoshinn, on 10/12/2008, -0/+6oh cool, the guide no one asked for
- zephyr42, on 10/12/2008, -0/+5What ads?
- JCH897, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4Too analytical.
- CommonSense2k8, on 10/12/2008, -0/+32600 has a good article about Analytics in the current issue. Probably more reliable then this one...
- CarStan, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3So thats what my browser is waiting for, while loading at least every second web page...
not to mention all the safety-certificates.. - centran, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3@zephyr42
see that little red stop sign with the ABP in it... click it. - divinediva, on 10/12/2008, -0/+2I found this article even more interesting located at the bottom there..
http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/web/google- ... - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -0/+2I think you're supposed to put it at the end of the pages...
I don't remember because it's been a month or two since i've messed with the analytics code you put into the files. - absolutzombie, on 10/12/2008, -0/+2This guide is nowhere near complete, nor worth reading if you've used GA for more than 3 days.
Buried for lame. - Ruathal, on 10/12/2008, -0/+2Alternatively, add http://www.google-analytics.com/* to your Adblock Plus filter list.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -0/+1I wonder if Google strings together the AdSense and Analytics impressions across all sites to track people's browsing habits.
Nah, they wouldn't do that. - inactive, on 04/05/2009, -0/+1Sure it's great page http://www.roomreview.net/winning-secrets-of-onlin ...
- nickycakes, on 10/12/2008, -1/+2more like techgaydar, m i rite
- sk11, on 10/12/2008, -1/+2Just get firefox + noscript.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -0/+1No - Don't click that icon!
It does bad things! - Jaliyl, on 10/12/2008, -0/+1Effective or not, Google analytics is often the slowest part of a website to load for me, so I always adblock it.
- bicycleman, on 10/12/2008, -0/+1Give me real time up to the second stats and I'll give you my money.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -0/+1I think Adsense already does javascript tracking or at least logging anyways.
- jarretcade, on 10/13/2008, -0/+1What a lame ass guide, there is way more behind Analytics then what they explained. No way in hell is this anywhere near a complete guide. Buried.
- WilliamDavis, on 10/13/2008, -0/+1Sure, google will give you a nice free stats program. They only want every bit of data about your website in exchange.
- oakgrove2004, on 10/13/2008, -0/+0Not with this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/209 ... firefox extension it doesn't. After installing that add-on, just right click on the "next" link of any multi-page story and all the pages are fetched and added on to the page you are currently reading. Pretty handy especially for http://www.icanhascheezburger.com sessions with the girlfriend. And if that add-on doesn't work with your browser, not to worry, just disable compatibility checking.
- SimpleAlex, on 12/31/2008, -0/+0google analytics is amaing. Very handy guide. Thanks a lot

- 1911shooter, on 02/19/2009, -0/+0I like Analytics, but I think it comes at a price: all your data. If you fully integrate with Analytics down to the conversion level, they have access to every bit of data from your site. While I'm not a "big brother" fanatic, it does concern me a bit. I prefer to utilize a pay service as I feel I have a little more control. Just my .02 worth.

http://www.thetravelerguides.com/ - Daniel591992, on 10/12/2008, -2/+1This is actually perfect timing. I actually starting a site explaining how to organize pictures (see profile for link if you want) last night. I've used Google Analytics before and still don't know half of what it is capable of.
- 1359399, on 10/12/2008, -2/+1Anyone else find the pink highlighting on that site's slogan a bit creepy? "Deep" into technology? Sounds a bit kinky.
