- MarkusX, on 03/16/2009, -0/+34100mb/s? Comcastic ???
So with Comcast's 250 GB/month download limit in place, your MONTHLY allowed bandwidth is used up in 5 hours and 45 minutes. - JermTool, on 03/17/2009, -1/+21Two companies who over charge for their products have teamed up, how fortunate for us consumers...
- Heywoodj, on 03/17/2009, -0/+18They should name the place "Rootkit and Throttle"
- rdldr1, on 03/17/2009, -1/+18Comcast was voted one of the worst companies in America by Consumerist.com's many readers. Sony was a prominent electronics company who made many dumbass moves leading to competitors surpassing in market share. These two incompetent companies are a match made in heaven.
- shoppingkart, on 03/17/2009, -0/+14Again, they release another New Stupid Piece Of ***** That Doesn't ***** Work.
- inactive, on 03/16/2009, -2/+14Sony loves the MPAA mafia.
MPAA and Sony Still Want to Control Your TV - http://www.speec.mobi/archive/movies/mpaa-and-sony ... - jgubbe, on 03/17/2009, -0/+11"What now I have to buy another adapter to get back my whole service! Oh, just great. You are sending me two bills now. Oh crap... I have to pay........How the...What are all these extra fees here.. I mean.. I just signed up for the $215 package here and the $78.99 package there; but there is $43 dollars in fees here per each package additional in tax and fees each month... Oh if I would have said that...... Oh, but you said............ So thats not an option for me anymore because.............I got it, I am stuck in the contract. Well then could I please speak to your manager.........Not available, How.....You're the manager... I see...You know I waited here on the phone for 53 min before being transfered twice which each transfer took 15min apiece.........wait what's that number again......180046......................................" went Bob's conversation with Sony StyleComcast.
Bob decided to give the bird to their racket the next day. He latter went on to make a series of Youtube videos to teach others how to acquire free cable and internet from the same corporations that tried to rob him blind. - PeterNorton, on 03/16/2009, -3/+13What a bunch of BS. Never liked Comcast, never will.
- Jerky1312, on 03/17/2009, -1/+7I lost respect for both awhile ago.
- Daryl209, on 03/17/2009, -0/+6Wow I miss Circuit City already.....
- supermanKD, on 03/17/2009, -0/+6Dugg for the thumbnail!
- OrdinaryPanda, on 03/17/2009, -0/+6They shouldn't be allowed to get that close, they may create a douchebag black hole if they touch.
- PercyKittenz, on 03/17/2009, -0/+5With Circuit City gone for good, someone needs to step up and provide consumers with a new retail experience that combines ***** service with overpriced crap.
- blindhammer, on 03/17/2009, -0/+5Noooo, don't shoot your foot!
- sanskrtam, on 03/17/2009, -1/+5Geez, Sony will be very disappointed with Comcast... or maybe Sony is going to take over Comcast.
I often visit my relatives in America often. They have more respect to Sony than Comcast by comparing brand values.
Though I at least thank Sony that PS3 is Linux-friendly.
And now, digg me down that I said something stupid. - CalcProgrammer1, on 03/17/2009, -1/+5A failure of epic proportions!
- fuzzynyanko, on 03/17/2009, -0/+3I'm surprised. Sony is having financial problems and opens a store?
- suntzusputnik, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2***** that
- Azerael, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2It's been all the rage amongst these consumer electronics people since Apple started their stores, Microsoft is doing it too. They all seem to miss the point, though.
- astrotrain, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2"The Wrong Brothers"
- jjones20, on 03/17/2009, -1/+3Is it also madness?
If you're a Sony fan you've got to be used to them doing weird things by now. - inactive, on 03/18/2009, -0/+2LOL! Good one!
- TibetRock, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2It's like that time the devil made a deal with the devil.
- artfuldodga, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2am i the only one not excited? they will need a lot of luck lol
- astrotrain, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2No but the principle of the matter is Comcrap stated no limits when customers signed up, and now they are changing their contract not only on new users, but the users who already signed the "no cap" contract.
- nextekcarl, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1So would that just suck in other douchebags? That could be a good thing! I think John Lennon made a song that went something like:
Imagine there's no Douchebags
I know it's hard, but try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the geeks
Living for today...
Or something like that anyways. - nik707, on 09/15/2009, -0/+1Odd how companies I hate tend to flock together.
- DotFreelance, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1Maybe they should focus on old technologies, like the deteriorating network they run or the ***** tools they give their outsource technical support. Having to tell a customer that you can't help them reset their email password because Comcast is run like a tool factory is probably not the best way to do business.
- Repeater2000, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1Comcast butthurt that MS sold it's shares in comcast? seems so. :chuckle
opa-ages.com - Azerael, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1Sony haven't made anything but crap since the 80's. I wish they'd just collapse already.
- welestgw, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1I'm waiting for Comcast to start to contract rather than keep expanding. It sure seems like they can't currently support their size.
- inactive, on 03/18/2009, -0/+1 This is true..And slip in a rootkit as well.
I'd not go near this outfit. - csspublic, on 03/17/2009, -1/+2Wow - I didn't think it was possible. A store I have even less interest in entering than the "sony" stores I already hiss at when passing.
- briLo, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1The DRM/Rootkit Kings team up with the Bandwidth Throttlers to bring you, Unacceptable Movie Download Packages and Overpriced Services!!!!!!!!!!
Nation Wide WiFi.......you're our only hope. - ahhell, on 03/17/2009, -1/+1Worst store name...EVAR!!
- Azerael, on 03/17/2009, -2/+2That's 10-20 times what we get in Australia. I would be happy to swap with you if you don't like it.
- weasler7, on 03/17/2009, -3/+2Well, you should realize that those are only advertised speeds. Rarely do customers reach those advertised speeds!
One full day of continuous use would be a conservative estimate. - Nubli, on 03/17/2009, -4/+1Do you know anybody that downloads at 100mb/s non-stop?
- unic0rn, on 03/16/2009, -8/+3This is blasphemy. Comcast isn't worthy of teaming up with Sony. I had respect for Sony...sigh*
