- JJorsett, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Isn't it a bit insulting to the masses to say that they're rank? I mean, I haven't taken a shower yet today, but it IS a Sunday.
- Zedizdead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The only thing that ruins digg is are stupid user comments (like this one ;) ) Especially the lame people who take the time to say "No Digg" as if anybody cares what they think.
- ChristinaB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When the media talks about digg, they are making more people aware of it. I don't see this as a bad thing.
- pillfred, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"as if anyone cares what some tiny columnist thinks"
And you are? - invisiblist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i can digg it.
- KorbenDallas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This reader was prepared to be underwhelmed by another Digg review...
7.5 pseudo paragraphs...
He should have used some comment quotes. - CheapDigWannbe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh my god a supernatural species have been also amazed by digg?
What's the big deal, like millions of others the guy liked Digg.com so what?
No Digg - antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was like this too. At first, I wasn't impressed with Digg. Then later, I tried again and I was addicted. Thanks a lot, Digg. :(

Maybe he IS the columnist. har har! :) - osuadh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I read this in my newspaper. Doesn't seem like very big news. How come digg is so big on the self-promotion? Every time there's an interview with kevin rose or some major news website writes about digg.com, its a front page story. Everyone knows digg is cool, we don't need old journalists to tell us that for it to be true.
- Tracon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0digg
@ judsond well said - judsond, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like digg, but honest to god, I don't see why journalists act like it's so amazing. I mean. Slashdot, Kuro5hin, Plastic, Metafilter, Fark off the top of my head. Now, I like digg better than those sites, but it's evolutionary, not revolutionary. His praise for digg is easily applied to them as well, the things digg does right that they do wrong, like RSS feeds for everything, a defined friend network, and a focus on the story rather than rating politics journalists seem to routinely miss.
- exoendo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wonder if the firefox story he was talking about was mine . . .
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0good article, digg
- vodkamattvt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Digg can be good, as long as you dont stick to the front page. The front page is just an Apple circle jerk many times (or it seems at least). There are some interesting stories hidden away.
- caldroun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Maybe given a little more time...
- TheGalacticFork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What if everyone calls him a pretentious douche, will he be underwhelmed then?

This sounds like it came straight out of The Onion. - alexander, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Haha! It's nice to see my local paper on the front page of digg.
- pintong, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, "the Digg experience?" Experiencing a page of links?
- zelig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Digg it

- Ramble, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0After 10mins I'm sure he was underwhelmed.
- dtrinh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1~~~~~~~~~~~
Surprisingly enough, I've met the man. I live in Raleigh, NC - and actually attended (as part of a school journalism trip) a seminar hosted by the News & Observer. - Tali, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0as if anyone cares what some tiny columnist thinks
- akira117, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Great I don't care!
