- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You're right, I get the same bug. I think there's nothing wrong with bringing this up to the community as well as sending digg an email.
- lassa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Actually you make a good point charbarred, I should have sent an email to Digg along with the post. I already outlined why I think the digg people would be interested in having it sent to the community, weeding out bad reports and all. But it also lets the community no so digg doesn't get inundated with repetitive emails. This is the web 2.0 way, judging if something is important by diggs is better then trying to figure out if your being spammed with emails.
- glafira, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Listen Bub I think this guy did an excellent thing, you went and marked it as spam but what you are really doing is killing off a guy that is a real hardcore Digg user.
- netburnr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Because who knows when or if they will see this. I'm really suprised it has 18 diggs already. I'm not surprised that my comment is going negative, common sense is not allowed here.
I don't care if this goes on, I did my part and marked what I saw as spam. If everyone submitted a digg article every time there was a bug or something they thought could be different, then we would have that many more stories to have to weed through to actually find something worth digging.
Sorry if I'm sick and tired of having to go through pages upon pages of crap to find diggworthy stories, but I'll mark (and comment) what I think is spam, and the userbase can either digg me down, or they can follow me and do the same.
//Still thinks you need to send them an e-mail. - lassa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2thanks for the support glafire. netburnr, I know could have just clicked the contact us but I see no reason why the power of digg shouldn't be used to weed out go and bad bug reports. I would think that the digg people would feel the same way.
- netburnr, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2See the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of digg, click that and then EMAIL THEM.
