- andtheodor, on 02/23/2009, -28/+801Yeah, total *****. Nobody would actually download a U2 album.

plz help. - ryansking, on 02/23/2009, -11/+358Why the "Breaking"? TC being full of ***** is not news.
- alexmuller, on 02/23/2009, -3/+301TechCrunch gives the impression of a site that's so hung up on pageviews and ad revenue that they don't give a ***** about their reporting. And that's not a great place to be.
- sfrench, on 02/23/2009, -1/+155Every one of those is completely valid. And might I suggest you throw in a "TICKETMASTER SUCKS"
- paradizzle, on 02/23/2009, -5/+157Thank you! Last.FM FTW TechCrunch is full of crap.
- Hydrogen, on 02/23/2009, -2/+100Just say *****.
- BooLag, on 04/23/2009, -9/+106***** THE RIAA!!!
How can that even be in question? - MrJagil, on 02/23/2009, -1/+92Last.fm is one of the best sites on the web imo... it gives acces to an astronomical number of bands, and gives excellent information about them, their friends and their "collegues". The other day, my dad, 49 years old, came jumping down the stairs to tell me about this wonderous site and how it had connected him with underground music back from his youth, and let him explore all the great stuff out there. No other site has done that as of yet (facebook was close, but really, my dad doesn't care that much about who is dating who anymore).
- cmw10, on 02/23/2009, -3/+74WHOOO GO LAST.FM - now thats a site with some backbone! WHOO

- d686, on 02/23/2009, -4/+35nice to see that euro companies still have a bit of backbone and are willing to put something out other than an ultra bland press release.
- qwertycopter, on 02/23/2009, -5/+35Yeah yeah yeah!
- carguy84, on 02/23/2009, -2/+28I will bet you TechCrunch's revenue, they close up shop by 2010.
They were awful when no one knew about them, now that they have to pay bills, they're writing everything and anything to create paidviews.
Bye bye TechCrunch - do not want. - kahoona1, on 02/23/2009, -8/+33Fox News of tech sites?
- jfreeman, on 02/23/2009, -17/+41Kevin Rose tweeted this. Influx in 3... 2... 1...
- tavallai, on 02/23/2009, -2/+26Their blog could've been more succinct:
TechCrunch are *****. - StewMeat, on 02/23/2009, -2/+26Techcruch are sucks dong.
- CarStan, on 02/23/2009, -3/+26i ***** hate powerusers
- xaeon, on 02/23/2009, -0/+21Breaking: arizonagroove writes Greasemonkey script to automatically bury any story with a title that starts "Breaking."
- inactive, on 02/23/2009, -2/+22I think it's an ironic 'Breaking"
- sulthernao, on 02/23/2009, -2/+21Actually in US English it's "is" because corporations/groups are considered to be a single entity.
- zebbers, on 02/23/2009, -11/+29*is
- brainboy7777, on 02/23/2009, -0/+18But they have the 2nd-biggest ***** ever! You have to pay respect for that, right?
- DrummerAndrew, on 02/23/2009, -2/+20Last.fm is a pretty cool guy, eh streams music and doesn't afraid of anything.
- Andy.D, on 02/23/2009, -7/+24http://digg.com/tech_news/RIAA_denies_rumors_that_ ...
- Danltn, on 02/23/2009, -4/+20Sarcasm, please be sarcasm.
- avaugha4, on 02/23/2009, -5/+21I have to say that Techcrunch is really going downhill... First defending the ridiculous FB TOS, and snarking Consumerist for making up a controversy... Then posting this *****? Ohhh the Hypocrisy, isn't it grand?
- reyesz, on 02/23/2009, -1/+16Techcrunch should go offline.
- verygoodyear, on 02/23/2009, -1/+16Techcrunch has always been full of *****. The site is awful and the writing is amateurish. Not a Last.fm user, just don't like bad journalism!
- xaeon, on 02/23/2009, -3/+17@sulthernao
"In American English, collective nouns usually take singular verb forms (formal agreement), but either a singular or plural verb is correct American usage where the noun is understood as a group of individual components."
US English says either is acceptable, and British English says "are."
The submitter is British. - JoeCool1986, on 02/23/2009, -1/+15
- fireashes, on 02/23/2009, -0/+13you dont say that on digg. you need to twitter that. On digg you need to say that digg>twitter
- HigherLogic, on 02/23/2009, -0/+12You're obviously using Twitter way too much when you have to come on Digg and tell everyone what you're "tweeting" about. No one gives a ***** on Twitter, and certainly no one gives a ***** on here.
- xDynaBlade, on 02/23/2009, -0/+12"Because of fads like this, human beings are going to sound like complete idiots in less than fifty years."
Haven you watched anything on MTV or VH1 recently? It's already happened. - HiImFromReddit, on 02/23/2009, -0/+12http://www.theonion.com/content/node/27836
- inactive, on 02/23/2009, -1/+12I are not pleased with the Techcrunch.
- LongDivision, on 02/24/2009, -8/+19Do you realize that U2 is arguably the second-biggest band of all-time, behind only The Beatles?
Now I'm not necessarily saying that biggest=best or popular=good, and certainly there are annoying things about U2. But it's an insane amount of people that are into U2, and for an absolutely HUGE amount of time in pop culture terms (30 years).
...and for the last 20+ of those years, they've been the biggest band in the world. No band in history can equal that claim. Personally, I've gotta give that some respect. - Kajarago, on 02/23/2009, -2/+13Get a job, hippie.
And if you have a job, get to work, hippie.
And if it's your job to tweet this all day, then ***** you. - tobias, on 02/23/2009, -8/+19Michael Arrington hates europe
- inactive, on 02/23/2009, -0/+11I hear they just took hootenanny out of the dictionary as well! Its an atrocity i tell you!
