might as well get a 4GB ipod nano for $20 more. - soundguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Crazy!!! And I was hoping to be the 1st to point this out. I went there today and found 2 palates worth of the things! Wish they were Intel though. I guess that's why they don't have any at the Apple store anymore, they got sucked up by Costco. So anybody think Costco will sell these regularly (Intel version in the future ofcourse)?
- patrickweber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0heh, kinda cool. I'm not sure that I like the whole HP thing though.
- aplardi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0in other words
BOO

- MissionSix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0tekmonkey...
the 4gb nano's are 70 more... - whammypower, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They're out of grays. :-(
- Kindred420, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0got a couple today for xmas gifts, thanks for the digg. costco's warranty rules,u can return it and get a new one if u drop or damage it.
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just buy it at Costco. The actual store, not online.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great find, thanx.
- Gillz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Excuse me while I go buy a Nano on eBay for $150...
- Nihaochan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ummm... ebay.
good deals. - AdamCo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why is the pink one shown as purple? Or is it just me?
- konrad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0See why Alex likes Costco?
- CanuckMakem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love Costco too....
- irie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Costco provides a 6 month warranty on all electronic items, included in the sales price. I haven't been able to find any other store offering that!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0by: ieatbabies "You can't get mad at $2.44 gas in Southern California"
What the heck is this now? You can buy gas at Costco for 2.44? Where? Someone tell this Costco newbie. Thanks. - alexw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"That's full refund,no restocking fees, regardless of the reason."
Oh, but when you buy from Costo, you get them in packs of 20! It's the Costco law! - irie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's full refund,no restocking fees, regardless of the reason.
- tekmonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0->the 4gb nano's are 70 more...
right...i forgot. i didn't realize costco was selling them for $50 cheaper then they used to be. not bad then. - JuliusErving, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ryosuke, the nano is much more durable than you may think. check out this URL: http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/nano.ars/3
- dutchdorr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks. I bought one.
- Stopher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I want to know where the 200 dollar nanos are.
- Ricapar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Am I the only one who thought the Mini's looked ugly? =(
I'd either get the nano or the normal one. I'd probably go with the normal one since the nano is a bit too.. nano-ish - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0 merloj159
I understood that much, but which ones--the online store doesn't mention anything about that or have a directory. I'm in Pasadena, CA. - Magnum2066, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Rather fish ebay again and get another 15gb or more ipod for $125.
- tmod4eva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Irie......
Actually the return policy is actually different that what you stated.
You are only Given 6 months on desktop and notebook computers.
That being said...
If you walk into any Costco, look above their "membership," or return center.
Above that they have in big letters,
"Return Policy"
"If at ANY time you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, bring it back in for a refund."
Meaning that aside from computers, you can bring your electronic device back at any time. from 6 months to 6 years.
I work at Costco. We have had people bring in digital cameras from 4 (four) years ago. Only to get a full refund..
The CEO of Costco, Jim Synigal, Wanted to adopt a return policy where people feel secure in making a purchase at his store. So he adopted Nordstrom’s Return policy.
If you have ever been to Nordstrom’s, you can buy some underwear and return it a year later if you wanted to..
Don’t believe me, call your local Costco.
If that’s not peace of mind, I don’t know what is.. - merloj159, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0RedStarr,
some Costcos have gas stations - justinbaker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Excuse me while I go buy a Nano on eBay for $150..."
what the hell are u talking about? - n3tfury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Just buy it at Costco. The actual store, not online."
but that means these fat nerds would have to leave the house : - number8888, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Considering that the Mini is discontinued, this would make a great collector's item, or not.
- craigtheguru, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have a used mini with accessories I'm willing to sell for the same price. A good deal actually. :) Gonna replace my trusty mini with a nano.
- tmod4eva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0RedStarr
http://www.costco.com/Warehouse/Locator.aspx
is where you will find the Costco Locator.
Then after you type in your Zip code. you will see a list of the local costco's.
From there click on the nearest one.
Then under "Warehouse Features:"
It will let you know if it has a gas station or not. - ross., on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah the nano would have to be more durable than the mini seeing as it's solid state, and the mini is hard-drive based...hard drives will eventually fail.
- Ryosuke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is awesome. I'd much rather get a mini than a Nano considering the fact that it's probably a bit sturdier which is good because it could handle more damage since I dont bother to protect my iPods.
- Undertakernv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks like they're all sold out.
- capajc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wouldn't use an iPod if it were free, but a good deal is a good deal if someone wants it. Dugg for the nice find.
- binder520, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Apple decided to keep a few bucks for themselves and exclude an AC adapter from the iPod Mini Package. They expect everyone to charge via USB, but that means everyone needs to leave their computer on just to charge the iPod Mini. Here is a quick link for everyone looking for an AC Adapter:
http://www.podccessories.com/product_info.php?products_id=50 has a AC adapter for $6.50.
I picked one up and it works just as advertised. - FireDawg451, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There all gone
- Matrixsjd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0these are the HP one's, since that's all costco sells, interesting find. I suppose they're clearing them out since HP no longer is part of the iPod line
