- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16What the ***** good is WordPress? Does it ever work? Can WordPress actually deliver a HTML document?
- undetected, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16I'm thinking the wife who searched for "Husband doesn’t shower or wear deodorant" is the same one who searched for "Whole body donation", except it's not her own body she's thinking of donating...
- le0pard, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9I bet the NSFW searches are much worse than anything on this list...
- kierand, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8looking at your logs is one of the best things about owning your own site. my music site regularly attracts these search terms from "enlightened" individuals...

- grayapple, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9I think we've all seen worse when that AOL Search leak happened.
- Livewired, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8I'm not sure I would define those as "stranger than fiction". Not even that bizarre.
- bobman2007, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8I bet every comment so far has been, "Why can't I see the comments to this story?"
- Hobofuzz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7So Digg says there are 24 comments for this, yet I don't see any comments...
WTF Digg? - roflcawpter, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6How to flirt = strange?
I'm surprised there aren't more searches for that one. There's entire books based on flirting. - Junkyarddawg, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Those were bizarre searches? Try
"Is it normal to cook you rfriend breakfast after he rapes you?" or "How destroy demons that live in apt above?"

And how creepy is the series of searches around the subject of Tara Marowski?
Yes, all those are real searches, extracted from the leaked AOL search log. - iamnotbatman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Those aren't particularly strange searches. Hell, I make much stranger searches all the time just to screw with the folks at google.
- Wootery, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5*Mandatory comment about how diggs != views*

- yourmom, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4i can't even see the comment i just made.
- idonthack, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5How does an article sit on the front page for 20 minutes with no comments?
EDIT: I forgot, it's 4 AM. Also, sorry for being useless. - yourmom, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5okay, digg's commenting system is really screwing up now. i've just tried like five times refreshing this page (the digg page, not the crappy wordpress page), and i can't see anyone's comments whatsoever, but i can see the "add your comment" box. please fix this digg!
- Philluminati, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3It says there are 22 comments??? I can't see them.
I'm looking for a mirror - scrolltom, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Wordpress is useless at handling Digg traffic.
- abhiroop, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3http://duggmirror.com/tech_news/Bizarre_Searches_Stranger_Than_Fiction/
These are really amazing...But I suppose there is at least one website completely dedicated to each of these topics :P - comradeTJH, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3this

- undetected, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Oops, sorry for the double post. I thought I already submitted it, but got distracted and wasn't sure, so I reloaded the page. I was suprised that the comment didn't show up, so I posted it (again).
As far as I knew I was the first one making a comment, now it turns out I was the second (and third), so it looks like there's some lag between when you post it and when digg publishes it. - baaron, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Dude, why are you being dugg down? That was a great comment I brought you up from -4 at least. Oh...ok you double posted..still funny
- dedmond29, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1A Google PM was showing some interesting and incorrect ways to use Robots.txt files at a meeting I was at - I can't imagine how many crazy and ridiculous searches they see every hour
- froglars, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1DesuKN: Because you're likely to turn up pages from forums where people have already asked that question.
- mooatr, on 10/11/2007, -6/+7How come when you phrase this differently it get more diggs?!
- r00tus3r, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2No replies and it's dead already. Jeeze! Wordpress sucks
- peppino, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1kierand:
How can I look at my website logs? I want to see the search terms. Does anyone know how to do it?
Thanks! - WilliamDavis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"And how creepy is the series of searches around the subject of Tara Marowski?"
They're not that weird, really. This sort of thing doesn't interest me much, but there are some pretty big online communities where people research and try to solve crimes. Considering the sheer numbers of missing people and unidentified bodies, they actually have plenty to keep them busy. - ArsenicTea, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1These searches are stories unto themselves. Like Wired's "very short stories" a while back. http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/14.11/sixwords.html
- Trax91, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Dead already. http://duggmirror.com works.
- 4eloBek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1meal no teeth with Holiday

- Glandmaster, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1http://duggmirror.com/tech_news/Bizarre_Searches_Stranger_Than_Fiction/
- cronoclone, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2This is barely an article. Where is this data even coming from? There aren't any sources.
- pkacholia, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1How to flirt (179)...
in related study 178 of those came from Digg users - Davve, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I say that every Digger goes to Google once a day, and types in "transexual shaves" and we'll see if it comes up on the list.
- DesuKN, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Why are there still morons who believe that asking the search engine a question will somehow make results better?
- baaron, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1HOLY *****!!!! You found them..good job
- khalidur2, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2FIRST POST YAY!!!!
