- 1233 diggs
- digg it
- DiduDigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+42Why is digg not included?
- ILikeBeets, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17And MySpace is?!
I'm no data analyst, but I think the creator of this list might be confusing the term "best" with "trendiest." - thegreatsam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12There should be a "Best of the Best of Lists" for Web 2.0.
- Four20, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6That's sad Digg isn't there but 'diggdot.us' is(digg/slashdot/delicious)
- FuzzyBunny, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23For me, the mere fact that Myspace is on this list totally discredits it.
- willynilly, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7As if the use of "Web 2.0" in the title didn't discredit it already!
Why wasn't this buried into oblivion? - ThePDW, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Dear god, just what I need, another Web 2.0 site to steal my time :-(
- mwosh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm surprised newsvine wasn't listed in the news category either.
- ILikeBeets, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17And MySpace is?!
- armbar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Looks more like it just includes everyone that fits a genre, and puts the favorite at the top. If this were really the best-of-the-best, it would just have the top of each category.
- ngmcs8203, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It also looks like they forgot how to link to other web sites also. So many broken links.
- zupa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Link to my site is simply broken. Since this "list" spreads over the internet it might be cool but now it is not any more ;-)
- dshPls, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Web 2.0 is such an eye sore, it looks like there's 100 good designers making it, then 100,000 crappy 16 year old designers imitating it.
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10thats pretty much true with any form of entertainment. Take a look at the vids on youtube, a select few are actually good, and the rest are teenagers that think its funny to slap each other.
- dshPls, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Very true, the Youtube thing is exactly right also, I'm not sure if many other people will remember this, but 3 or so monthes ago some kid posted a youtube vid on how to "scam" bestbuy by returning ipods or some *****. Anyways, he was smoking a ciggarette, trying to look at cool opening with the line "here's the deal!" It was the worst impression of a faux "coolness" I've ever seen, on youtube. Anyways, he had a blog, a web 2.0 blog.
- mesobe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I agree. Although I am a fan of gradients, rounded courners, drop shadows and glossy effects, there is very little variety out there. Lots of nice looking web 2.0 sites but few that are very unique.
- cayamara, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14... must ...click ...Web2.0-title ...
- squirrelza, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1https://www.ebucks.com/
- itisme, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1web 2.0 is hardly a great thing.
just a bunch more sites collecting user data to one day sell on.
I was just reading the digg privacy policy which basically breaks down to your data is private unless we sell it hmmmm kay thanks! - Warnke, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1It's a shame they excluded http://www.nexopia.com. It serves over 250,000 users a day and didn't make their list :S
- bdpf, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Warnke
It's a broken link. - watchdogtimer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2http://www.nexopia.com
not vouching for the site just fixing the link - etandrib, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4nexopia's design is worse than myspace.
- watchdogtimer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2now that i've looked at it, i concur. ewwww
- bdpf, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Warnke
- etandrib, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is the worst list of "links" I've seen in a while. Half the links I tried didn't even work or directed to the wrong page. I think a 6 year old put this together. Crap. No Digg.
- MMilitia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's sad when a site as ugly and crappy as Craigslist (Craig's?) can get onto ANY *best of* list.
- AIIAZNSK8ER, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i like craigslist. free furniture and pets. whats not to love?
- 2blathe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@aiiznsk8er
err... pet ads are against the craigslist TOS. should be flagged if seen.
- dkoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Those Best of the Best Pages are cropping up all over the place!
- DylanButler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The "Measure Map" link is wrongly pointed at gmail.. dumb list, but nicely categorized.
- RichM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7digg isn't on the list... yet they have a "Digg This!" link at the bottom. Gimme a break.
- trylleklovn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ah, the "Websites people use" list.
- TheKidd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The title should read:
"The Best of the Best Web 2.0 Websites....This Week" - 0KonTroL0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Web should be way past 2.0. Geez. Just think how long it will take to get to 3.0......I will be gray. lol
- artman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Heh. CraigsList. CraigsList?
/just not digging it. - duniyadnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yahoo Maps v1 is up instead of the newer Beta version. Got to be fair, if he can put up Google's beta products, put up Yahoo's as well:
http://maps.yahoo.com/beta/ - isthisnametaken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1never used pageflakes before, I was just using google homepage. This is a good list of some sites I hadn't heard of before
- amanuel, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2hehe...
I had dugg this several days ago...got no where. I'm still glad it is getting the attention it deserves.
See my profile: http://digg.com/users/amanuel/dugg
Cheers. - dep01, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i can not *BELIEVE* 30boxes.com is not under "Calandars"
this list sucks.
What do the random logos mean at the beginning of each section? The "winner?"
A web2.0 list on a web0.5 page... no digg. - coolusername, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The web 2.0 validator is cool, but I can't find a site that gets a high score...
http://web2.0validator.com/ - coreyb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Zillow.com?! I thought browser independence was a key factor of web 2.0?
The list just discredited itself. - davidcarrasco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Geeze please stop digging our site if you have nothing good to say guys. We are just trying to help spread the word on some great sites out there! Some sites were down because of the traffic, and there were some typos. My brother and I are not doing this for money, just for pure enjoyment. The ads we have on the side, nobody ever clicks and honestly with all the diggs our sites are getting, which we appreciate, are making our bandwidth costs skyrocket to unreasonable costs. However we both are doing reasonably well and just trying to help out the community. The least you guys could do is not blast us all the time. We both have busy family lives and day jobs. Yikes.
As for all the positive feedback and constructive feedback, please keep them coming! if you have any suggestions for things you would like to see on the site, just let us know!
David and Miguel Carrasco - arjie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I thought the whole thing was a joke, considering the rules that the rules that the web 2.0 validator uses. Haha, those rules are pretty damn funny.
- vflyer6, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0checkout:
