- svenr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14... says the guy whose buddy icon is a big G.
- MattLat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Wow. I like this new interface a lot... It's clean, to the point, and yet still able to get a ton of information onto one page. I like how it's got a bunch of features, but they're not trying to get your attention with all of them. It's very nicely done!
It won't topple Google... but then again, I'm not sure if that's really what they were going for. - skymt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6@ InsomniaSlim
webtickle is a very active user here. Just look at his submission history. This story is not spam. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6http://askx.com/
- antigoogle, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Too much white space in the left pane.
- JeffS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Secretly launched or just silently launched? Why do people overly dramatize site redesigns?
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you mean there wasn't a search engine war before?
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2To me, this just looks like a cleaned-up version of A9.com. It's kinda nice, but it's not going to stop me from using Google
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i think it doesn't work in Minefield :/
- smart1979, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm a google guy for the most part, but I always like a little bit of competition. I do like Ask.com sometimes though.
- bowe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1exactly what i thought, but I like a9.com better...
- brhad56, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If something better comes out, sure.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2... and his username is ANTIgoogle.
Hint - wphj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I actually like the old search bar more, compare www.ask.com to www.askx.com
The first is much cleaner. - ucbmckee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I digg it, it aggregates a lot more relevant information on my queries. The expand/narrow feature also looks neat.
- Popdmb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2http://www.ask.com
- Nearoschyth, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Red to gray gradient, are you kidding me? I refuse to Digg for this reason alone.
- Daniel591992, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3Yeah, that's because you got bombs and stuff going off in minefields! Obviously it wouldn't work...
- aJoshW, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Ask Jeeves developers still use 800x600 for their own monitors, apparently.
- netzdamon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Apparently i was not clear enough. Was referring to a patent war over the layouts. IF i understand Google's new patent.
- netzdamon, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0Google just put a patent on there search results page. Now ask.com launches a new UI that mimics Google's results page. This should turn into a little war i would think. Maybe i miss understood Google's new patent though. Anyone know anything about this?
- DoubtfulSalmon, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Uh, who uses ask.com anyway? It's just the original spam site, nothing more.
- trylleklovn, on 10/12/2007, -12/+5Does people use ask.com?
- pinesol101, on 10/12/2007, -14/+3GOOGLE
- InsomniaSlim, on 10/12/2007, -16/+3This smells like spam.
Secretly launched, eh?
