Another Look at Wishlistr
centernetworks.com — One of the first reviews on Cn was Wishlistr. Wishlistr is a tool out of Sweden that helps you create wishlists (duh). Since we are fast approaching the holiday time, I thought it might be good to see what's new. Check out our initial review as well.

- KiltedMile, on 11/12/2007, -0/+4From seeing the screenshots, the site looks nicely designed!
- nphase, on 11/12/2007, -1/+5reinventing the wheel..
- stealthrocket, on 11/12/2007, -0/+10don't you mean, rnvntng th whl?
- JeffD, on 11/12/2007, -1/+1wh ss cnstnnts nmr? lsrs
- joshua5, on 11/13/2007, -0/+3After trying it, the ajax is cool but the concept ultimately looses out for too much style over little substance. Its like CSI. I'd rather just send an email to my family with a bulleted list and links to websites.
- stealthrocket, on 11/12/2007, -0/+10don't you mean, rnvntng th whl?
- BurnTees, on 11/13/2007, -0/+2how is it different than the other wishlist sites out there?
- beatbox32, on 11/13/2007, -0/+3Apparently they don't need the letter 'e'. Since the break-up, they want you to know they've been doing GREAT without it and not thinking about 'e' at all!
- ashtonium, on 11/13/2007, -0/+1it has more AJAX, and less features
- Neuralphreak, on 11/13/2007, -0/+4It won't let me add "Hooker" ? WTF
- crwills, on 11/12/2007, -0/+4Try Hookr.
- QuickeningYak, on 11/12/2007, -2/+11Can someone tell me when the letter `e` became so over goddamned rated ?
- Anteros, on 11/12/2007, -0/+3When the domain squatters took all the good names
- FKnight, on 11/13/2007, -1/+12Buried for following the Web 2.0 standard of not being able to spell.
- ianbirtwistle, on 11/13/2007, -0/+6If your friends and family could remove a gift from the list after they'd bought it, this site would be a whole lot better..
- tchock23, on 11/12/2007, -0/+0I was thinking the same thing... That's what Super Duper List (superduperlist.com) does (see my comment below), which is why I think it is better...
- tchock23, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1This really isn't much different than anything else out there. One that is better (IMHO) is superduperlist.com
- ShootTheCore, on 11/12/2007, -2/+1Why does every Wen 2.0 site have to miss vowels out? (Flickr, Wishlstr)
- speerross, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1Yup, that's every Web 2.0 site right there
- WiskyDrinker, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1Because domains with correct spellings are all bought up..
- usefuljenkins, on 11/12/2007, -0/+2Cause of course we all know that, gifts and presents are the main reason for holidays. That's the only reason these sites can possibly stay afloat. Oh well, I'll continue on my merry way not celebrating and contributing.
- Randinn, on 11/12/2007, -0/+2Wow, just what a useless consumer-based culture needs
- wellyuk, on 11/12/2007, -2/+4There's something wrong with the world when you can go to a website specifically for listing things you want people to buy you. If someone is going to buy me a present for christmas, then I'd rather they bought me something unexpected than me handing them a list of things I want them to buy. Go commercialism! Go capitalism! And lets hear it for GREED too!
***** that site.- fnaqzna, on 11/15/2007, -0/+2Damned straight. I'm sick of the holidays and the consumerism. As I walked past the displays of christmas trees in September I decided right then, "***** it. I'm out. I'm not participating."
- DigitalGnome, on 11/12/2007, -0/+2I hope uncov covers Wishlistr.
- sghost, on 11/12/2007, -0/+2Yuck. You have to add items to your list manually. Check out this one. It automatically "harvests" the info for you: http://digg.com/software/Start_building_your_holid ...
- andrewacomb, on 11/13/2007, -0/+5Normal wish list's at say Amazon or Jinx, make it easy for people to buy you the item. After someone purchases the gift, it is then sent to your address without the purchaser every seeing that address. This site does not allow this.
- DimensionalPunk, on 11/12/2007, -0/+2I like Kaboodle better.
- dominoman44, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1I agree, a little more automation and a check off list would be good.
- racketboy, on 11/13/2007, -0/+2I've used Wishlistr for the last Christmas, birthday, and now this coming Christmas.
The only thing I would add to it is the ability to have my family members put dibs on what they want to get for me :) - GrendelT, on 11/13/2007, -1/+2Dangit, I was working on making a site that is *just* like this. All AJAXy and crap. Oh well.
- davman99, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, me too. :(
- aidave, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1This is a nice and clean up-and-coming site for wedding gifts:
http://www.wedding-gift-organizer.com - mattb5, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1I like Baggle.com
- prevajanje, on 11/13/2007, -0/+1I wish that there would be less wishlist sites around.
