I keep seeing over and over again how this group/individual will be destroying scientology, but I'm a bit perplexed how. While I hold no love for Scientology and would certainly like to support this group/individual, at the moment I'm simply seeing a tremendous amount of bark but no bite. Sure, there was a bit of a DOS attack, but the Scientology website is, as of this writing and everytime I've checked it over the past few days, up and running. Go Anonymous.
So let's say for the sake of argument that Scientology is "wiped clean from the net". So what? The vast majority of what I see on the net is anti-Scientology and it's not like being 'removed from the net' will eliminate their millions of dollars, numerous land (and sea) holdings, real-life political power, and convince their followers to leave. Besides, we all know how well net culture translates to real life (Snakes on a Plane and Ron Paul as two examples).
We've seen the training videos. We know the secret beliefs. We've seen several leaked documents. Operation Snow White is certainly well publicized. People already know how believers have to keep paying money to the church (though is it really any worse than tithing? and it's rare when people don't put money in the collection plate when it's passed around). Really, what can Anonymous do that hasn't already been done?

For example: the 'wrongness' in death penalty is arguable, but harassing people and killing your own members who have given themselves in your hands, is just plain wrong and people doing this currently face their own 'pill'. The goal of Scientology's 'Fair game' is to make people fear, they want you to know they're watching you. Well let's see how they like it now.
