- baraqiyal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Orson Wells??
- kylesellers, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I'm sure that Google would be willing to swap search information. /sarcasm

Your search - amazon - did not match any documents.
Suggestions:
* Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
* Try different keywords.
* Try more general keywords.
* Try fewer keywords. - jobo5432, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Amazon's search results contribute more to the site than just the search algorithms. They're used to recommend products, "customers who bought this also liked...", etc. I don't think it's anyone's business but Amazon who is searching for what on amazon.com.
- Fooboy, on 10/12/2007, -8/+8Good on Amazon I say. Google already knows far too much about how I spend my time without also knowing what books I buy.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Too bad your comment has nothing to do with this. This is about discovering the algorithm in use by Amazon.com not about collecting data on it's customers.
- inthe80s, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I'm sure if google loses this lawsuit that Amazon is going to have a tough time fighting any similar claims against it. I'm sure they'll come around to helping them in some form eventually.
- davidmackey, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1***** amazon
- akaWombat, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Why would Google need to bite Amazon's algorithm? Amazon should be thanking Google for driving them more traffic, and help their neighbors when they need some jam. One day soon some other company might just take Amazon's spot in the marketplace and then who's gonna care about some computational complexity and efficient implementation of their algorithm then?
- kalleanka, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5Why the hell would these companies give anything to Google?
If anything, they (especially Yahoo and Microsoft) should be happy if Google get sued and lose a bunch of money. - westley, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3I agree. Rush is a total prick.
- CasualNinja, on 10/12/2007, -15/+8Rush Limbaugh sucks ass!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -15/+5front page and no comments??? seriously ***** up.
