- dalnet22, on 06/26/2008, -0/+86Take a pic of your girlfriend, and see where she's been.
- LanceUppercut, on 06/26/2008, -6/+64Sweet. I took a picture of my dick, ran it through, and it came up with several hundred pictures of Chuck Norris and the Rock, and one of Bill Gates laying on a desk next to a picture of an old PC ftw.
- uallsuck, on 06/26/2008, -0/+28Google had better buy these guys quick.
- perre, on 06/25/2008, -3/+30Brilliant idea. I wanted to submit the digg logo guy to see how he's morphed over time but will have to wait until it's out of beta.

- dburka, on 06/25/2008, -2/+11From their site, an explanation of what you're seeing:
"What you are seeing is 150+ different retouched variations of the same image. They were all found on the web using TinEye, simply by searching for an untouched version of the original (the first image you see in the series). We took the results of our search and put them into this image flow interface, which allows you to scan through the different images and see the differences between them." - postitnote, on 06/26/2008, -0/+5It's called /r/
- tikistyle, on 06/26/2008, -3/+7let me add my own picture and THEN i'll be impressed.
- ThaDRD, on 06/26/2008, -3/+7I have been hoping for technology like this for years. Sometimes you are jacking it to some hot porn slut and you'd like more of her taking on the biggest ***** in the biz but you just can't seem to figure out what her name is.
- ErikHarrison, on 06/26/2008, -0/+4No one whacks Norris.
Norris whacks you. - goblindegook, on 06/26/2008, -0/+4So we'll be able to predict crime using this, then?
- mrmount, on 06/26/2008, -0/+4It was spooky to watch MJ turn up in the list. I am gonna get nightmares tonight!
- Evi1d33d, on 06/26/2008, -1/+4and the only friend...
- inactive, on 06/26/2008, -3/+6There is a little button under the post that says Reply. USE IT!

- Ibox, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2porn
- Hyperbio, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2it is not a demo. you can sign up at tineye.com and start using it. it is functioning technology but just in beta. the widget is a demo of tineye found for a select number of images that were interesting.
- rameznabel, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2soon in news Google acquire TinEye $$
- dburka, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2They've got a beta system set up for you to try it yourself. Go to their site and request an invite to give it a shot. I've seen it working first-hand and it's pretty amazing. http://tineye.com/
- inactive, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2Two galleries that are pre-made... not too impressive.
- CamJam, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2Not owned... but I had a good morning reply laugh
- KingGorilla, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2Lol Mona Noris
- taizoshiozaki, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2Mona Lisa demo was funny. Thanks for entertaining me for about 10 seconds.
- Jeran42, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2well im in the beta group! still some left!
this tool will be VERY useful to artists wondering if people are stealing thier art! - hdwilliams, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2Don't have a TinEye account yet?
You can grab an 'instant account" on the idee blog! http://blog.ideeinc.com/ Check out the Mona Lisa widget blog post, there's a link there to get one of 500 that are up for grabs! - jcaino, on 06/26/2008, -1/+3dugg b/c this site is not causing problems on the server...
- geoboy, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2Amber MacDonald? Surely you mean Amber MacArthur.
- Molnies, on 06/26/2008, -0/+2I've already seen several topics on photography forums where people have used this service to find illegal usage of their photos. So as a photographer myself I would find it very useful to be able to see where exactly my own photographs end up.
- manonfire285, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1Spam much?
- fooyonghwee, on 08/15/2008, -0/+1I have a bunch of invites to spare. TinEye has become an essential tool for me personally!
http://www.thesecondpress.com/blog/invites-to-tine ... - SteveColebourne, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Wondering why TinEye couldn't find your image?
* Our search index is still very small—just a fraction of all the images on the web! But our index is always growing, so be sure to search for this image again later.
* TinEye looks for the specific image you uploaded, not the content of the image. TinEye cannot identify people or objects in an image.
:( - plup, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Evil.
- 25life, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1You can request an invite to use the private Beta of Tineye.
- willowwolf, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1this is really cool. I don't really understand why the artist did this. What kind of statement is this project making? It's cool, but I'm not really sure what the artist means. Anyway... :D
- astrotrain, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Need some trippy Sitar music to go with this.
- inactive, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1cause you can find more detail regarding some pic of something that gains your interest.
"wow, what the hell is this? I wonder if there is any info on what the hell this is?" - 25life, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Digg does use that technology to prevent duplicate images. See: http://digg.com/tech_news/Idee_providing_duplicate ...
- kinggimped, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Very clever. I've been waiting for something like this.
Now I can put in a nice pair of breasts and it will give me every picture on the internet of any woman with similar boobies. If the photo is taken at the same angle. And if the skin tone and size of areolae is similar.
I don't think I've quite grasped the repercussions of this technology, but I like boobs.
