Why won't Macromedia/Adobe update Flash for Linux damnit! Flash 7 is old! - tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I don't understand how that's not a gay porn site. The name is very misleading.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10cool but useless concept
- floweringmind88, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14Garbage way to browse the net. This has been posted before and these people are just advertising it. This is why Digg is so lame these days. It has just become a way for companies to advertise themselves. The good content is down to about 30%

1. this is a dupe from about 3 months ago
2. all it shows is everybody on the internet is surfing for porn - blackcanoflysol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6This is one digg quite a few times. The regular site, the firefox extension.
And it's not too great. It's just some sites that people are viewing, and most of it is porn.
Porn is clogging up the tubes of our internets, and this is proof. XD - wxjunkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Won't digg incorporate this exact same concept soon...in stacking?
- numb401, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The lack of flash support in linux is killing me. At least swarm has a text version available that doesnt need flash.
- invader, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5hmm... significantly less porn on it than one of the first times it hit digg's front page.. i remember when about half the sites shown were for porn sites...

it's only 'non-usuable' [?] to the group of very few internet users that you are apparently a part of. - djrtitan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Old news, reported as a duplicate. Besides the only pages that it ever showed people looking at were Google, Digg, or porn.

its not as good lookking, it's just scrolling links - webtech, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Flickr screen:

- duzytata, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Who cares if its a dupe from three months ago? I didn't even know Digg was around three months ago. This is new news to me, and a pretty cool site to visit when I'm bored. And for everyone who complains about the porn, obviously you didn't visit the link the article. Porn sites are disabled by default. If you want the porn tabs, you have to enable it.
- LabRat777, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Wow, I can't believe neopets gets so much traffic even though they're greedy ***** who exploit the imaginations of children to make money. On that note: Take this survey!!!11 Get neopoints!1!11! Your life depends on it!1!!
- akira117, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://www.swarmthe.com/go/extension
- SirSid, on 05/27/2009, -0/+2lol a place to visit when bored
- omgitsmit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Very interesting. I'll probably download the firefox addon and contribute to this project :)
- xjbri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This seems pretty neat.
I was just wondering if this could be exploited somehow by maybe having a company load the extentions and have it report to swarm it's visiting its own website so that it moves up in popularity.
Just a thought. - kgool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, either I am getting old or this is hard to follow.
Or both... - dustinwoodard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This Site Sucks
- acAeris99, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3first time i've seen this, seems kinda cool.
- Tricky, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Me too. Stupid website. xD
- olicat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm looking forward to Red Hat's social networking site, Mugshot, taking off. It has a windows/linux/mac client which integrates with the web component and creates these swarms, based on the music you're listening to, sites you visit etc etc.
www.mugshot.org - cjus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Perhaps more useful in 3D (navigating inside a cloud). Pages moving to "ring zero" (core) seems like a nice idea, but the fact that your eyes need to move in a circular motion (rather than left to right - as we read) is a bit distracting.
- Ayreos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great idea. Could really be something when technology catches up.
- joelthelion2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I would gladly contribute if they cared about linux. You use flash 8 -> I don't help you
- tim507, on 10/12/2007, -0/+199% sure this was on here a while ago...
- spacebar14, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Digg!
First thing I clicked was some awesome nudes of Jessica Alba!!! - Dmatias, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1sort of unrelated but i love how in firefox the tab that this page is on reads "digg- a new way to browse the web" i find this sort of ironic because swarm, to me, seems like a visual digg. Many of the sites that i know veiw as interesting sites and regularly vist, i discovered on digg.
- jedimasta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, cuz I wanna see another site that glorifies the traffic going to myspace.
- mardigrasnut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I agree it is definitely different. I will add it and try it out as well.
- pragone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm not sure this is really useful, If it was a personal map of the sites you visit, instead of the sites everybody visit, it might be useful as a graphic bookmark list. That would make sense. But as it is I think it's very difficult to use because you have to spend a lot of time, first waiting for it to load and then to find out what it contains.
- glitch23, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2If I'm not mistaken it still says that most people are using Flash 5,6 and 7 or did I read the link that you stated incorrectly?
- stuffhappens, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2SO I sit here and watch it for - oh - 30 seconds and then think to myself "Er, OK, so what's the point?"
- jp10558, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does this even work in Opera 9? I get a blank page... Not fun.
- lprono77, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Are you kidding me? This does not deserve out attention. Move on please.
- guidewire, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It's kinda neat, but still I don't think it's a great way to search the net.
- stimuli, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Makes me dizzy...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1The first time I read Digg, this same site was on the front page. Dupalicous.
- kenyon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Good for you, man. Have a cookie.
- MrRockabilly, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2"Honk the horn Ugly!!!"
- akira117, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3Poor linux people...... ;7(
Yea, there is a text version...... http://www.swarmthe.com/go/textswarm - Haroldx, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4they need to mark things as flash 8+ a.k.a. non-usuable so people don't waste their time
- ericwisner, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0This was aleady dugg a few months back. Does anyone know how credible this is?
- dampeal, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2This is old, why is it being Dugg again, on the front page? I found this on Digg quite a while ago...
- webtech, on 10/12/2007, -15/+4heh! I use Flash Player 9!
